  • Very well done!!! I have done the same thing and I also time lapsed it too. But I used clay to get my shape. You can veiw it in my videos

  • @S1KRYD Thanks man, I have seen your videos before while searching YouTube. Great stuff you have. Is that a pottery clay you are using? Looks like a lot of work. I also like how you used the forms to match the sides and keep it symmetrical, that was a good idea.

  • i been trying to start my project car, where can i get that sculpting foam?i have always wonder where to get it

  • @blackjackhemi The Foam I used on the main part of the car, you can get at your local hardware store as insulation siding foam board. The spray foam is also at your local hardware store as Tuff-Stuff expanding foam. I would not recommend it for long term projects. I used it for simple support and that's it. The Spray foam continues to expand and shrink a lot making it difficult to keep strait lines.

  • Same process for RC planes :)

  • and who says meth is bad for you

  • Wow, that guy works fast. One thing that i don`t get is, how it is possible, that things around him are moving by itself sometimes :D nah, just making fun of it

  • @iiiYEDDLEiii My exact thought as soon as it started, Man this fucker works fast!!!

  • do you have to get it road legalized, or can u just drive it in your street without permission(since u probably have a chasis and engine of a previous road legal car)??

  • is it possible to get these cars road legal?

  • @Dualshock21 it looks like he's starting with a miata. the important parts of the car would still be used so it technically is a miata with a body kit on it. i suppose if he went beyond a certain level, it would be a new vehicle entirely, but it is a long way to get there.

  • What kind of foam were you using and where did you get it?

  • Bailey Blade you went to auto body school or aerospace school for engineering

  • @shazeebmw Umm neither... dropped out of college when I was 20... LOL.

  • @BaileyBlade what size compressor you running? and hows it hold out. awsome job....you got the finishing? i would like to see the priogress...amazing, im a 18 and working at my first bodyshop...but this is just amazing how you can do this work.

  • @jettastreetracer Well in this shop there are four 80Gal compressors all working together to provide pressure to everyone. I would say they hold up great... I have a single 80Gal 220 volt compressor at the house. It works great as well. Just depends on what you plan to do i guess.

  • damn he must be tired 6:06

  • @shazeebmw Yep, it about broke my back. Sometimes you just have a Tard moment and want to do things by yourself.

  • @BaileyBlade good is your car done

  • @shazeebmw Not done yet... still a lot more work to do.

  • LOL @ 6:05 that Rear Sub-Frame must have been heavy!

  • @Cocoflava Yeah its at least 300lbs... and I was at an odd angle to lift it and slide it through the car.

  • would a small hot wire setup be useful?

  • its interesting to watch, im a gangster watching this lolz

  • @1pelavacas no u not

  • your a real Picasso this thing is a masterpiece good job guy keep up the good work.

  • you guys work fask i gotta get me some of that coffee

  • awesome

  • it's nice to get a car with no dents, super fresh yall! =D

  • i dislike the design but the whole proccess is really cool to watch. i might have to try this

  • @24grantj24 Have you seen all 37 videos?.. or at least the latest ones. It's had a few changes since this video.

  • @BaileyBlade man hire me as ur cleaner 3 months no salary is ok with me lol...im serious.....i really love your job....

  • How the hell did you manage to get The Flash to sculpt a car for you?

  • @bluewhiting Shhh!!! don't let my secrete out.

  • @bluewhiting on to of that he apparently talks really fast, how is one supposed to understand him?

  • mad genius

  • when will you finish this last time i saw on fiberglassforums it was still unfinished love the car

  • what is this pink material?

  • it's a miataviper! LOL jk.

So you say white foam sucks what exact foam is this ur using and where to order it I'm also going to do a wide body on my sc300. Thanks

  • Yeah most standard white foam is usually too brittle and not very dense. They are custom order white foam you can get online that works great, but its expensive. We simply used an insulation foam from a local hardware store, its the same stuff but comes in sheets. Still expensive though but easier to work with.

  • @Cthrilla sry but I just gotta say this but the sc300 is just a copy cat of the s14

  • thats so freakin badass. im planning on doing a widebody on my subaru. just curious as to what your using on the foam and would it stick to metal.

  • Yeah the foam will stick to metal but you may need to cut reliefs in it and make sure you use a good water base glue.

  • what kinda glue are you going with?? and why not use the normal white foam crap. it should be lighter then the pink stuff i guess you just cant form it as well?? had about 30 sheets of it on my porch. hopefully i still got a few pieces of it.

  • I used wood glue a lot and spray glue, I mention it in some of my videos. The normal white foam will not work, it is too brittle and does not shape well.

  • its like watching the clangers lol

    good vid

  • Hmm what is Clangers? Sounds like some type of UK show.

  • yeah it is :)

the program was 4 children under 5 or so in wich there where small creatures that make funny noises much like what i was hearing hear while going about there clanger business at a unusually high speed

so very similar to this vid ;)

  • Ahh ok.. yeah I just looked that up on YouTube LOL funny.

  • Awesome!!
