You gona give him some credit that he has not fear of lossing record sale but stick to his performance. To that prospective I think he has bigger ball than Madona and Britney. But to me. You don't need to not do something because you fear loosing fame. and fame really can't make you be your true self sometime

Thanks for posting. I agree. I thought it was kinda alright when I saw it, and like you I also thought it would hurt his career.
Madonna & Britney used it as a midcareer bump, not as an opening salvo, you know?.
But I guess we were wrong: Lambert's album is set to debut at #2, ahead of Lady Gaga and Rhianna. Go figure.
