  • That was really useful, thanks

  • Thank you! my teacher wasn't specific on the motion required so i've been blindy trying to do vibrato, this helped me out a lot

  • how can you do it without vibrating the violin?

  • @Gemparkzz first, try holding down on your violin with you chin to stop it from moving, if that's to difficult, or isn't yielding any reasults, go to a corner in the room and push the head of the violin into the corner hard, holding it in place. hoped that helped

  • whoa you can move around the typed words at the bottom of the strings

  • This is arm vibrato. Right idea, just the wrong name :P

  • Your pinky was not in a proper position. I suggest strighten it a little bit :)

  • Your pinky was not in a proper position.

  • Remember, its not the finger that youre moving, its the FAT on your finger, this is why vibrato is often easier on the 2nd and 3rd fingers. :)

  • thanks!

  • very nice miss! Thank you!

  • Terrible advice - this delusional lady doesn't even know what a finger vibrato is...

Please go to a real expert, such as the ProfessorV YouTube channel, where you will get some reliable tuition.

  • i wish it waz more close up...so we can have a better look, but hey... :x

  • you bar by far superior to the other chick from expert village on explaining and being humble in your teachings. Thank you very very much for helping me get started on my new passion

  • how long did you study vibrato?

  • wow! u r very soft spoken, i can barely hear u

  • Oh my gosh, thankyou.

  • The 'Galamian' finger vibrato I learned was actually to move the knuckle of one finger back and forth between the knuckles of the other fingers. Relaxation was always the most important factor. That made for relaxed flexibility of the finger joints, coupled with exercises that work with hand (wrist) vibrato.

  • Ok...I'll try it :D

  • thnx alot
