Oh my god! I've watched way too many coconut-opening videos (about 30 - I'm obsessing) and this one blows my mind. He took a while, yes, BUT he got the entire coconut meat out all in one piece - WITH the water still inside it. Your ignorant if you think that's not SKILL! Amazing. I'd love to see that in person. Thanks for posting!
@crimemastertoto Now, now... no need for name calling. Please... I know a lot of people from India and they are very polite and gentlemanly. After all, India gave us Mahatma Gandhi!! Plus I've just seen a few videos of really fast workers in India and it simply astonishes me. So if you happen to know of a video of someone in India who do the same thing as the person in this video, but much faster, then please load it as a response to this video! Would love to see it! :) Thx! :)

When i think of coconuts, i think of an old, Hawaiian person that cant speak English correctly. Your video description proves me wrong, and now i feel like a racist son of a mother and a father...
thx for the vid! check out my easy & safe coconut-opening technique on my page, using a simple kitchen knife! :) you'll also get to see the secret amazonian jungle chic in action ;) here's to coconuts for everyone! ❤
@punkrockefeller Those coconuts are probably just off the tree, they would be dirty, and I'm assuming that's why he never actually touched the coconut, and only used his knife if he had to.
Shocking!!! Didn't think that was possible! WAY COOL!!!
Unfortunately, here in the US I haven't yet found any good quality coconuts. Most have sat on a boat for weeks or months and the water tastes like dirty socks! Yuck!
I love coconuts! had some fresh from a tree in Tahiti - a special variety that is best for their drinking their water - I almost came!!!!
? I didn't see anything "cracked"... so should I assume - since I've never seen a real one fresh from a tree, that they're not hard until the outer flesh is pulled off and they dry? I never saw a shell on here...
I would go to the Caribbean Raly, but a trip is far more expensive than just buying a coconut, so that'll have to wait!
@Trinavara try and visit malaysia, this video was taken here, and for more info this guy is from Philippines, Laguna Pell is the Name of the Product m you can find it in Tropicana city Mall Malaysia
what the fuck this makes no fucking cence me and my friends are triping mega fuckling ball what the fuck is so specal over this fucking cocunut spliting mother fucker someone plz tell me or im going to fucking kill someone
By looking at this vid it seems to me that it is much harder to peel the nut than to crack it open. I can crack ALMOST every coconut in less than a minute.
dude, u watch too much movies. that is how a coconut comes off a tree. its got layers nd layers. and then it reaches the hard shell. it is white when it is fresh but goes brown when dried, so yeh
I've lived on a tropical beach on the coast of Queensland Australia for 7 years..
I know what a fucking coconut looks like.
All the coconuts I have seen are brown, hard skinned and are hollow in the middle.
I have found at that between the green to brown stage (the coconuts in this video) they grow a milky white pulp in the middle before devolving their hard inner shell.
That is so neat. That way you don't have to waste alot of meat when you try to eat it. Most of the time, they just cut away a small portion of the shell then stick a straw in it. You get to drink the coconut water but won't be able to eat the meat inside. Great video.
i hit the nut with a hammer in different places turning it continuously, carefully listening to the sound, till the shell crack in many places. then i just peel the shell and get the inside in one piece. it has small crack but still hols the water
