This is when black folks were not exploited on tv as ghetto and ignorant. White people even loved our shows man lol. We went from this to "I love NY" and "Flavor of Love" lol wow. We need more shows like this, The Cosbys, 227 and Amen to kinda help show this new generation that its okay to be family oriented and non ghetto. Loved this show. Martin and Living Single were my other favorites in the 90's.

Does anyone remember that when this first started they used to play "Its a wonderful world" then this theme became permanent? That was during the pilot before Jaime Foxworth was casted as Judy. Then the role was played by Valerie Jones. I don't know why they decided not to keep her, she was so cute. But then they got rid of Judy all together so I suppose it really didn't matter.
