The best thing about making it NOT live is, you can record the same move(s) several times depends on what do you want to achieve (smoothness,speed,flow,etc or maybe because you dropped cards). Plus,if you perform in the street you'll get some disadvantages such as wind. You can't really do a fast flourish with the aid of strong wind.
@4L3X101 Why can't the offline/recorded video be accelerated? I don't understand. You use a special software to accelerate any video and it is very easy to do. I agree with you on recording the same move(s) several times. In the street it can be performed, if there is a good windless weather. You can watch his other videos, especially the last one. @gladiatorhl2 I did watch his last video Flourishes -Ellusionist Kent. And I can say that (though I can't do most of those flourishes) his flourishes is not even fast, or I should say, his concept was not fast. Why,because I've watched one of my friend did those flourishes (they were mostly DnD's moves) faster than him. I'll try my best to ask him to put it on youtube without any editing,just so you can see that it IS possible to do some fast flourishes. :)

@4L3X101 That guy claims that he does not accelerate anything, as usually, but the speed is insane )). Faster than Brian Tudor, Dave and Dave who do accelerate his videos. It is quite common. Watch Andrei Jikh, if you haven't seen him yet. He even can not do his flourishes faster than these guys, but he is a professional flourisher. Watch guys who flourish tens of years and they can not repeat like this.
@gladiatorhl2 I will have my own video posted soon enough (not the one that I promised you) and you are welcome to put some critics. The reason why my videos are not accelerated (yet, if you say so) because I've decided that speed is not my style and my flourishes will look bad. :)

@4L3X101 There are a lot of reasons to accelerate videos. To be cool, to be special or to be noticed by a lot of people. So we must not rely on supposed reasons. If videos are so fast and you can not repeat even several seconds, they are accelerated ones or there are some bizarre actions which are completely contrary to physical laws.
@gladiatorhl2 To be cool,special or to be noticed in cardistry, does NOT need to be fast (accelerated),my friend. :) And yes,the references are all creators,and so him. To create something,you need inspirations. You can mix and match several well known moves and come up with some "new" moves that you can call your own. But we still respect who gave us ideas,which moves that we taken. That's why we put "credits" in our videos.
I would like to add that right now you are in a vulnerable position. If you prove that this video is not accelerated, we are done. But if you do not, you are done. I agree that an attack is simpler than a defense but this only works in this way. We indicate a flaw, you must defend adequately. Best flourisher out there! I'd like to know if you have created any tricks or effects though. Great job. I'd say you do the material even better than thos who created it. Best flourisher out there! I'd like to know if you have created any tricks or effects though. Great job. I'd say you do the material even better than thos who created it. I'm a piano player who just happened to get into card magic and the extra coordination helped big time. Wonder if Kent plays an instrument. Keep up the good work!

Well I just found humor in that comment. I couldn't help but notice how he acted all clumsy when writing that quote and just had a laugh or two.
