Here in Manatee County, Florida are high school history students are told they can not call the signers and creators of our government "fathers" that this is sexist behaviour and they tell them to call them "founders", Education is so far to the left. Let's run them of to a true Communist country, North Korea or China.

@yourdime10 Sounds like it's high time you and your neighbors started going to PTS and School board meetings and expose this bad behavior on the teachers' part and chastise Board members who cower to and defend the teachers. Then you'll know who to elect to represent you on the School Board. I assure you, the time it takes is time very well spent.

Politics begin in the neighborhood- in fact, 90% od all politics is local. Once your keep the local politicians in check, National politics align.

God lived and taught love and forgiveness and i'm sure the only type of "government" he would care about is his divine word. Governments are run by people. And people are what God cares about. At least thats my view.

@MrAmbf1234 Yes I honestly do. I feel it very deeply. God loves us and is not demeaned by his concern for anything important to us. And GVT is extremely important. Stalinism, Naziism and the roads to such governments, must concern him greatly. How could Naziism of Stalinism of Maoism or Khemer rouge (sp?) not concern him. Maybe we are just talking about different things, or we have a different idea of who God is.

@MrAmbf1234 God does care about governments because he wants them to protect people's freedoms. God didn't like the communist Soviet Union, middle-eastern governments, or other governments that withhold freedom from their people. Whether the people then make good choices or bad, at least they will be free to choose.

@towneybill I am also proud to be an american. a mexican-american. I was an "anchor baby" and as such i have seen many immigrants. I have studied immigration and I have spoken to many immigrants. do you honestly believe that these men and women want to leave their families and be hundreds of miles away? they do it out of necessity just like i am sure you and i would do if we had no other means of providing. these are not aliens they are people. thats forgotten too often.
