Patience is a necessity when learning this type of embouchure, indeed! Once you get it nothing is easier. :) My main style of flute that i make uses this technique, but its bore is wider so it needs a more open lip placement. Beautiful, friend.
the nay is simply MAGIC! its amazing how the sound comes out by using the blowing technique. it took me almost a year of trial and error only trying to let out a note. it also known that the prophets of God used to play this in their spare times.

this egyptain flute is very hard to play. as it is blown side ways, most of the ppl give up playing.
