I had the at&t quickfire for a little over a year. I had problems with it from beginning. The touch screen is horribly unresponsive. The qwerty keyboard is really nice, but after about a year the phone starts to "white screen" . You turn it on and the screen goes blindingly white, and stays that way. When this problem first started I could fix it by turning it off and then back on, but now it white screens all the time consistantly I have not seen the menu in months. DONT BUY IT!!!

I had the Quickfire for about three months. The problems started. The touch screen was not accurate. The phone's speed was very slow. Touch screen phones are a 'No no" for texters. When I started having problems with the Quickfire, they offered to trade that in with The Lg Vu or Pantech Matrix. The Lg-Vu is not a texting phone either. The Lg Rumor 2 looks like the best texting phone.

One thing I hated about the Pantech Duo was that the number slider for making calls never really worked properly. I'd have to push really hard on the buttons to make them work, and if I was dialing, often it would skip numbers and I'd have to go back and retype it in -- about 80% of the time. Also, the screen lags severly upon changing orientation. The keyboard is actually really good, but I'm not a fan of the general interface. My Quickfire comes int he mail tomorrow, so I'm excited!!

quickfire is definetly better in the end but after having it for a little bit it sucks. it can burn down ur house also the touchscreen becomes unresponsive at times and is discontinued because it sucks and all of its problems. if you honestly wanted a phone that will last or will be better in the end get the duo and its a great phone overall.
