I used to make those with pyrodex. They're awesome but don't forget they're not your average firework. Killer shrapnel is made by them so keep it safe.

Oooh, haha. I used a waterproof fuse. There are many types. The thicker, the more waterproof. But for a CO2 cartridge I used a 1/16" visco fuse because I could only make the hole so big. Generally the "american visco cannon fuse" is one of the best for most waterproof explosives. Check out the Skylighter website, or cannonfuse. com, or pyrocreation. com. It's really pretty easy. Check out my video called "Backyard pipebomb in pond". You'll see.

Actaully, yes. Black powder is what most people use to to make bullets. (Also smokeless powder.) Ever since 9-11 you can only get black powder online. You can still buy Pyrodex, a black powder substitute, (which is what I used) at The Sportsman's Warehouse. It's almost as good as real black powder. Or just use Piccolo Pete powder. Or mash up some sparklers. Or go to Wal-Mart, buy a pack of model rocket engines, peel off the outer cardboard, and mash up all the inner contents.

He is correct. Get a CO2 cartridge and empty in the whatever fashion you us it with (which creates a small hole in the top). Make the hole a little bigger now using whatever means possible. Now be creative. Use a piece of paper and make a cone with a tiny hole at the tip, then tape the paper to keep the cone shape. Now go to Sportsman's Warehouse and buy the finest blackpowder (aka Pyrodex) you can find. now funnel it into the cone, and that into the cartridge.
