Duly noted. For all these years I thought Dylan wrote it. I stand corrected. Seeger is truly great and the foundation for so much that is Dylan and many others. Obviously it lives on here.
With the appropriate amount of compression it sounds much like a 360.. use a 330 foryear and could get a very simular sound.. i'ts the way its played and Roger is the master!!!
Transcendant, beautiful, words cannot describe. Little Steven was in heaven and did more than hold his own. Listen to his electric 12 string fingerpicking playing underneath McGuinn's solo- superb.
Actually that's all McGuinn! Look at McGuinn's right hand fingers at about 2:55- he is playing the lead solo line and accompanying himself with finger-picking at the same time. It's a style that he derived from banjo picking.
Nice - but let's not forget that this is a charity release: This official video (and other 'Magic Highlights' tracks) can be downloaded via iTunes with all proceeds going to the Danny Federici Memmorial melanoma fund.

Nice to see Bruce taking on David Crosbys original harmony part ... not quite the same type of singer, but it works out really well. Magic!

This is a neat video, but I agree, charity videos for the recently deceased should be paid for. BTW: Springsteen is amazing!
