No the hava will not work unless you own an HD TV. Other than that ive had no problem with the dazzle, I think easy cap has bad quality but thats just in my eyes. I recoment Dazzle in this situation

so you can play your xbox(or gaming console) on your tv and have it feed to your computer as well, instead of just having it on a 3inch box on your computer screen. also so that you can hook it up to the dazzle and use the y-adapters to split the siginal. Hopes this helps. Please subscribe!

You don't need a $50 Dazzle. You just need anything with both AV Input and AV Output. Most VCRs have both Input and Output. I use a VCR, but I record with a digital camera (there's not even a VHS tape in the VCR). The VCR doesn't even have to work, as long as you can turn it on. The game cables go into Input, and the digital camera's cables go into Output. Records anything that you see on the TV screen, exactly as you see it.

You need to get Pinnacle Studio somehow. Once you get it it's pretty easy, but I've got a bigger problem. On windows media player my Warriors vids come out with the best quality ever, but on youtube they suck. what'sup?

you'll have to set up you xbox and tv for mono audio, rather than stereo.

Mono means that the same sound will come out of both speakers regardless of left or right (white or red)

Stereo means that different sounds could come out of either speaker. For example, if you are recording your right speaker output, and ingame a grenade explodes to your left, you wont be recording that sound. it also depends on the game.
