Sounds like a nice British style pale ale but with American hops. I wish more breweries would brew low ABV beers like this around here. But I am starting to see more and more.
@nige4958 I hope to try it sometime when I am up North. I bet it's a lot more hoppier. But even in the bottle it is one of my top session beers. Cheers mate!
I liked the pirate one mate. The Terry Kay one showed promise in challenging Les Dennis' mantle. This Ray Charles one leaves a lot to be desired though mate. No piano, no toothy grin, no suit and bow tie. Pull yer socks up.
Good stuff as always mate. Glad the cat op is working out. Semi skimmed milk from the fridge is a good eye wash. Cools them down too. Obviously if you have been given drop allow them time to do their thing.
The drops are working well mate and this one is healing so much quicker than the previous op. Cheers mate! I'll still need bins for reading but I can spot a pigeon poking a pretzel from fifty miles away.
I used to love this beer and have a very fond memory of drinking it at the brewery, it was so juicy and hoppy. Last few times I've had it it wasn't great. In my opinion the company doing the bottling are stripping out all the hop profile. They need to get this bottled with very low filtration like Magic Rock and Brewdog do.
@HopZine I'd love to have tried it back when you had it. Not very hoppy but still a great session beer. Love the pureness of these beers too. I alway thought the water up North was full of coal dust and flat caps.
