dont listern to this guy he knows nothing about bearingsif you want to clean them properly, take the bearings out of the wheel and use a pin to fick the bearing shield off the bearings, and wash them under a tap and use washing up liquid to take the lube off and all the shit in their too, dry them off then spray wd-40 in them then you will need thick grease (do not use just wd-40 it will wreck the bearings)after that wash the shield too then put back on the bearing and thay will be shit fast!!

Just so you know for future reference.. WD40 actually kills bearings. Unlocks the rust, but will eat the lubricant.
