there is no excuse in my response, apparently you cant read! it is very expensive to implement large concentrated solar collectors. industries are reluctant to switch to new and efficient energies because its not cost effective in the short run. its really that simple. do you have a solar powered generator in your house? what have you done?

I agree with you on the fact that we could easily reform our energy policy, but the truth is that the current energy mega powers have so much power over finances that it is impossible to pay for the necessary changes. Solar power has been available for years yet still no major push to introduce this to the world. I live in a shitty area in Yorkshire England and i guarantee you that the majority of people here a amazingly dumb beyond belief and would believe anything they're told.

the value in it, is that its renewable but it lacks the high volume needed to sustain power grids. we need to find better ways to harness its energy, and thats what takes time
Do you really think that this Summit is going to bring any positive changes? Today has only gone on to show that we are seriously miles away from any progress. Ending on a compromise is just a way of giving the public hope of any real progress. If we truly wish to change this planets future then it is us who must change and relying on Governments is suicide. The monetary system has crippled humanity. Greed and power is what money gives us.
