He said himself that he called it flamingo because he isn't a flamenco guitarist. Also, whats wrong with 'head banger music'? Thats an incredably narrow minded view of popular music, take guitarists like Malmsteen, he is heavily influenced by composers such as JS. Bach and yet he writes head banger music.

Nice playing. Not his usual instrument and he made a great perfomance. For many Spanish, flamenco is almost like a religion. Music is universal, anyone can play flamenco in the world only need a hard practice. The Flamenco is more than just music, you have to feel it... i can't...be explained ...

i think if PG seriously studied classical or flamenco technique he would be very good, he has a fluid left hand but his right hand needs a lot of work as many have already stated.
