  • @sumip90x thanks for the invite. :)

  • Good job guys! Got some broccoli plants in the ground today here.

  • @beelicktraveler Woo Hoo :) Can't wait to see your plants grow.

  • Hi! Great harvest! I wish I had planted brocoli for my garden (maybe I will start them now, its still pretty cold here in sacramento) :) That dish your wife was cooking looked yummy. Oh and the yard long beans, I grow them every year too and they take a long time to germinate but they are good producers. I love em! I sowed in lettuce and spinach the other day, now hoping they all germinate and I have some yummy salad soon. Thanks for the updates. love watching your videos.

  • @rlal85 I would love to see your Garden too. I have the standard spinach types growing but i really really want that Sri Lankan spinach variety germinated. My mom brought them from Sri Lanka so I'm eager to see how they do here in California (we are in modesto).

  • You've done an awesome job with the backyard garden. The plants look really healthy, and theres no weeds. What is your secret? HAHA..mphgardener...folks get the MHP and the MPH mixed up all the time. I guess I'm too late for dinner, huh? ;-)

  • @mhpgardener oops sorry about MHP. Oh the never ending weeds, i just hand pluck em hoping that will stop growing :). All the weeds get tossed in to the compost pile. Not sure if thats a good idea or not but hey gotta get rid of them somehow.

  • Yumm! Glad they survived the storms you had.

  • @loislaney23 Yeah me too... Did not think they would survive the crazy storm we had.

  • MMMmmmmmm, you're eating stuff already : ) All that's ready over here is the occasional garlic leaf, and horseradish, if I dare do any more digging (!)

  • @Helioforge

Haha, agreed! We East Coasters are only blessed with leeks and shallots so far. SoCal has warm temperature all year round, but their soil is poor - here in the East Coast soil is rich, but we have to wait longer to plant. Man! We put out some carrots, kale, peppers after the first week of Spring and they've all died! (Crying..)

  • @4GreenEarth2 We used to live in the East Coast last year (MA). I love the rich east coast soil.
