What do you mean? Sorry, but I haven't understood your question. And why are you asking about mercedes transmission? I was talking about standart niva transfer box, which installed here. As for me, it could be weak for bigger mercedes engine.

The special point of this improvement - only the engine and gearboox installed from mercedes, and transfer box belongs to niva, because this mercedes doesn't has the 4 wheel drive.
@vadimmart I didn't get you somewhere because by wiki A transfer box is a part of a four wheel drive system found in four wheel drive and all wheel drive vehicles. The transfer case is connected to the transmission and also to the front and rear axles by means of drive shafts.So he used transmission from which Mercedes model(one of the rear-wheel drive)? And transfer box from Niva!Am I right?
4 wheel drive and all wheel are completely diferent things, and the "Freelander 2" is no ordinary all wheel drive vehicle and it doesn't contain a transfer case
