  • You are absolutely insaneee. No WAY do any of these people look Tudor-era worthy.

  • Im likin Kristen as Howard...Heigl aint "ugly" enuff to be cleeves :P....n Im sorry but I think Dormer and Meyers are beautiful as Henry and Anne!

  • ROBERT KAZINSKY SHOULD HAVE PLAYED HENRY> WE SAID THAT FROM EPISODE ONE!

  • Hillary Swank as Anne Boleyn ,

Monica Belluci as Katherine of Aragon

I find Dunst a great actress but not for period pieces, I never believed her as Marie-Antoinette nor Helen Mirren as Elizabeth I

Henry VIII would need a GREAT shakespearean actor, fat can be created from by costumers but great actors that can play royalty are another story....

  • I see what you meen.. but most of your cast is American.. imagine how stupid it would sound with fake british accents.. and i LOVE Kirsten Dunst as Katherine of Aragon :D and.. Kristen Stewart in The Tudors.. that would make me puke.. sorry..

  • I see what you meen.. but most of your cast is American.. imagine how stupid it would sound with fake british accents.. and i LOVE Kirsten Dunst as Katherine of Aragon :D

  • My choices would be: Henry - Leonardo DiCaprio (think about him with red hair and a beard.) KoA - Marcia Cross Anne B - Penelope Cruz Jane S - Emilia Fox AoC - Maggie Gylenhaal Catherine Howard - Ellen Page Catherine Parr - Juliette Binoche Mary Tudor: Anne Hathaway Elizabeth Tudor: Saoirse Ronan
  • I think and agree that Catherine Zeta Jones would make a amazing Anne Boleyn :)

  • Sorry, but Kirsten Dundst does not look like a Catherine, Catherine is more of a mature looking older mother type, Kirsten's more of an Anne Boleyn or Jane Seymour, she has the face for Anne and Jane. Heather Graham as Anne, no way. Kristen Stewart as Catherin Howard, ah no, she's more of a Elizabeth type. Shannon Doherty loks more like an Anne Boleyn, not Catherine Parr. Good video, but not good representations!

  • it's not so much that they're american, it's that the vast majority of them are terrible actors... although today in hollywood the good actors are mostly english... sad...

  • If Kristen Dust was "Catherine of Aragon" Henry would have been a fool to get ride of her, I have to say that this cast is qestionable!!, I do agree with some of the comments you should pick English actors not American actors and most of theses actors and actress are way to pretty to be in the Tudors!!, I have to say I like the cast right now were it is!! but if you are going by another movie then some of the actors would be ok, let me just say that some of them lack acting skills.

  • ok. some of them are alright i suppose. but im happy with the original tudor cast. there is honestly not a single actor or actress i would change.

the tudors is based on english history. so get english actors!

  • kristen dunst as catherine, no no

  • This is ridiculous u must be a yank. None of them look anything like them. Part from Shia whats his face, but again hes American. The cast should be mainly British/Irish

  • This is an awful cast. Most of the cast should be english actors.

  • Kristen Stewart as Catherine Howard!A big no no but the others are good! But KS is a big NO. U have to be a good actress and everyone's good!<3

  • she didn't look like a horse he just didn't like her

  • wait now. Henry used to say that anne of cleaves looked lik a horse and didnt even know why he married her. i don't think Kathrine Heigl looks like a horse. Do you?

  • Kirsten Bell would be bettter than the girl they got, her forehead scares me. But I have to disagree about Shannon as Parr She can't act I'd get Gillian Anderson (X-files) I think she could nail Katherine Parr even though she is a little older than Parr was when she died

  • Natalie Portman as ANNE BOLEYN ALWAYS

    SHE'S PERFECT

  • My cast would be as follows:

Henry- (young) Robert Kazinski and you cant beat Ray Winstone as older Henry with the transfortmation taking place after Jane dies

KoA- Nicole Kidman or Monica Bellucci (age throughout)

    Anne B- Catherine Zeta Jones

    Jane- Reese Witherspoon

    AoC- Thora Birch

    Katherine H- Jenna Malone

    Catherine Parr- Kate Winslet

Based on being similiar in age and looks, and actually being decent actors. Yay or nay?

  • It's good to read other people's choices.

I like your casting, too. :)

  • @wickerwillow Robert Kazinsky would have been absolutely perfect for Henry. My friends and I said so as soon as we heard that Showtime was making the series. Jenna Malone as Katherine Howard ? maybe not. Tamzin Mercant was ideal - though Felicity Jones or Imogen Poots would have been perfect too. Andrea Risborough or Gemma Arterton as Anne Boleyn, Sally hawkins as Jane seymour. Aiden Turner as Thomas Culpepper.

  • Worst casting ever.

  • Humm..interesting choices, especially Hillary Swank as Elizabeth--not bad. She would also be a good Anne Boleyn.

  • good idea for a video tho, it is interesting to see who people think would make good tudors

  • heather graham?????? despite the fact she's not attractive at all, she does have any features that are similar to Anne. I've always pictured someone like kate beckinsale playing anne

  • I'm not sure if i agree with many of those except for Edward VI he looks similar. The others don't look like them - but I might make a video response. With my choices. But its a great video though, its quite interesting. I value your opinions and thoughts, so thanks for the great concept :)

  • Dunst as Catherine! Why didn't I think of that?! 5 *s

  • I just don't see these people being them, especially Heather Grahm as Anne. Anne's supposed to be brunette. Plus Heather could never handle a role like anne. And Kirsten Dunst as Katherine of Aragon.. NO! Katherine Heigl as Anne of Cleves an even bigger NOOO!

  • Ok, I respect your opinion. I just wanna respond to one thing: "Anne's supposed to be brunette" I think hair dying can solve this problem. I want to find a pic of Hether where her hair is brown, but I coudn't.

But I understand your another argument why she couldn't play Anne Boleyn in your opinion. That's ok. :)

P.S.: Sorry for my English. That's not my native language.

  • cool! I love Heather Graham! 5 stars! *****

  • Thanks for your comment! :)

  • I totally agree with everything on here! Especially your choice for Catherine of Aragon, I think Kirsten Dunst would be amazing at playing her!

  • I agree
