This is a horrible song. George really sucked after concert for bangledesh. This is a kind of blues rock and roll that 10 year olds can do.

@11xzxzxz They were just messing about with a couple of Ukuleles in Georges 'garden'. It isnt even their song, Jimmy Reed wrote it and it was released in 1959...prob just something they were both into, way back when.

As for Harrison's post Bangladesh work..Give Me Love, Cheer Down, Someplace Else, Beautiful Girl..All of the songs from Brainwashed? Maybe not as good as pre 1971, but I dont think he sucked..then again I may be a little biased!

@comanchio1976 I don't know that much of George's post Bangladesh work but the songs you mention are pretty good. But he did so much crap. Jeff Lynne helped him get his guitar on straight some but really after the Concert - no records would have been noticed if he had not been with Beatles. I thought he was a great guitarist and wrote a few great songs with the Beatles. Nothing at all against him . .. I liked him a lot.

@comanchio1976 Hey man please enjoy whatever music you like .. didn't mean to tear into George. The Lynne note was just a qausi-joke about the Traveling Wilburys and was just nonsense. Hey you are younger than me so you probably know a lot more about newer music .. but you can ask me anything but I am not an expert on Harrison .. Just ask whatever ..whenever. @11xzxzxz Haha dont worry, I'm not so precious about my musical taste that it cant stand a little disagreement..in fact I welcome it, helps things being kept in perspective. As for 'new' music..I'm struggling to find anything of late that floats my boat. I relatively recently got into a band that I regrettably missed the 1st time around, 'The Pixies'..didnt give them enough of a chance when I 1st heard them.

@comanchio1976 Yeah I just put up the Pixies This Monkey has gone To Heaven.. cool original song. I think Debaser is their best album but I don't have it. I have to tell you I hate this Harrison jam .. I don't care if they are having fun and laughs but it is an annoying sound to my ears. I don't like roots rock and roll, I guess.

Anyway I am not always as open-minded as you and as I wrote I just hate this song so glad we can talk elsewhere.. yeah all in fun, just a little dance all in fun but if someone came on this site they might think rock sucks and when I was dropped on my head as I child I decided I must become the guardian of rock. That is why the Cleveland Hall of Fame Bldg must be destroyed soon. Hey just kidding.

@11xzxzxz Good grief, all I was saying.. was that if it seems like just some over-simplified blues rubbish that he's written and recorded..then you'd have a really good point. All I was trying to do was givie it some kind of context..as with that context, I happened to enjoy it when I 1st saw it.

So what made you suddenly flip from really pleasant to needlessly insulting?

@11xzxzxz Well I'd say that asking someone if they were dropped on their head as a baby, would generally be construed as an insult. Dont get me wrong, I've worked in psychiatric hospitals where unprovoked insults are par for the course..so much so that they dont affect me at all..I just find them fascinating.
