What you said is not true at all... Bands use their own equipment when playing tv shows.. the reason they usually sound bad is simply because it is very hard to make a good mix for live broadcast.. I highly doubt the jimmy Kimmel show has a guitar lying around that has a spider on it (just like the artwork for Cold) and an Ibanez guitar (just like the guitar players guitar also used by MUNKY IN KORN)...

I saw Cold live about a month before they announced the break up, and they were awesome. In my opinion, this wasn't their best performance, but it had nothing to do with Scooter being "junked up" or the band splitting up. Scooter has said in many interviews and online posts that the band hates playing this song. It is part of the reason they left Atlantic Records. Do some research before you make ignorant assuptions.

why do people like to fool themselves? I like this band, got the year of the spider and love all the songs in it but the TRUTH is : I have never seen ANY live performance where scooter delivers. He sings crappy live, PERIOD. plus, if you can't do it live don't record the song with high notes. Now, using PLAYBACK backing vocals live NOT SYNCHED is a no-no.
Still love them.

Okay,well,I have done some research on live performances of this song.The lead singer is not singing it bad,it's actually the way he sings it in the song (backup vocals do the high parts) the only reason it sounds bad,is the Backup Vocals are not that high Live,so you can barely hear them.Case solved.

I saw Cold live about a month before they announced the break up, and they were awesome. In my opinion, this wasn't their best performance, but it had nothing to do with Scooter being "junked up" or the band splitting up. Scooter has said in many interviews and online posts that the band hates playing this song. It is part of the reason they left Atlantic Records. Do some research before you make ignorant assuptions.

At this point, they were on their way out, so they probably didn't care. I've seen Scooter sing live, and believe me, he's sung MUCH BETTER than this. He probably had lost the motivation to sing, seeing as his band was about to break up.
