I think this guy is awesome but way too overrated... even I could play almost everything he does on this vid with a little practice and I've played marching drum "only" for about 7 years or so. It's just a plain fact that good drummers stand out in the crowd, whereas guitarists etc have to be excellent.
@mkaali anybody can copy somebody elses good work if they practice long enough, travis's style and creativity on drums is what makes not only a great drummer but a great artist who makes use of minimal equipment eg the snare drum alone and creating something astounding eg the way he uses the sticks to create variation in the solo. Bottom line its about the art created, not so much the technique. the differences is technique u learn art is something that only you can create, no coundaries

guys seriously?!? from 0:54 to the end, all he did was the same thing over and over. and honestly, if we are being real, the stuff he did isn't very hard on a marching snare. while he is a good player, he shouldn't be this praised.
