  • I have a fair amt of experience driving luxury cars and this 350 is quite a nice car, great acceleration, quietness, firm but not mushy ride, and stellar technology. Saying this car is just an overpriced Camry is like saying a Lincoln MKX is just a Ford Fusion.

  • skewll buss driver

  • I agree........with the vid poster. Lexus is not a performance vehicle so its a bit odd to let people drive the Lexi and then competitors, only to realize that the others perform better. Lexus isn't horrible, but I seriously think that Audi provides the luxury and build quality as well as performance. I'd take the new 2009 A4 over this, which has grown so is now similar in size.

  • this driver and the one beside him talk as if he is a specialist in cars...if he drove a ferrari he will say the tire is suck...common man this is a new car!!! (this is an overpriced camry) it doesnt even have anything from the camry except the platform!!!

  • The tire is not suck. The most suck thing is the driver is really to fat which makes the car slow.

  • This car is not bad at all. Mine's crystal white. Getting the windows tinted this weekend. BTW, just found out that when getting your windows tinted, get the non-metallic one. I've heard that metallic ones affect the navi. Don't know if that's true, but better safe than sorry =) Also, ES350 is not a Camry. Nothing wrong with the Camry, but there's a world of difference between their quality, features, power, and most especially dealership customer service =)

  • I'm not gonna lie, I thought the ES was the same thing as a camry...Until I actually drove one.

  • Exactly. Sharing the same platform, does not mean both cars would be the same. The RX also shares the Camry platform along with the ES, and obviously it's still a different vehicle. Other makes also share the same platforms among their own lines, but I guess a rival company was desperate to pull down Lexus and made sure that the public knows about the sharing of platforms so a stigma can be attached to the ES being a glorified Camry. When it is really a different car and class.

  • when you said, "whats up with that?" after the engine bogged and stutter-shifted. That's called VSC, or vehicle stability control. My ES330 does the same thing when you get on it and it spins a wheel. Press the button next time and at least turn off the traction control part of it. (The stability can't be turned off)

  • Actually the stability can be turned off. Just push and hold the trac off button.

  • nice mines black...
