Shame the he seemed to regress the past two years. He maintained his toughness and ability to help in run support, but I noticed that he blows too many coverages. Before I saw the replay of the last TD pass in the Rose Bowl to Johnson, I knew Anthony would be prominently featured. He didn't disappoint. The Big 10 QBs will miss him. As a PSU fan, I wont. Astorino will be a very good one. You can quote me on that one. Just remember I said it 3 years from now.

Penn State was really underrated that year. You know, despite the poll rankings and records, Florida State of 2005 seemed like a much better team than Tennessee of 2006. I know a lot of Tennessee fans were complaining beforehand that they were "stuck" playing "inferior" Penn State. And they were VERY quiet after losing 20-10 to a Penn State team that should have beaten Ohio State and played Michigan down to the wire.

I too was at the game. Scirrotto was incredible! He was all over the place---I think their were 2 number 7's on the field--in my opinion--the player of the game. That hit he put on at the beginning of the 3rd quarter was awesome!

That pic is actually hard to come by... I don't know where you can get one, but the one I've seen has Scirotto with a terrible face. He looks like he's in excruciating pain when he makes the hit. lol Either that or he knew he was making a ridiculous play and had his war face on.
