I can't believe these expanding earth idiots are all over youtube. Given that they all seem to be from the US, it kinda hints that science education is failing there... Expanding earth doesn't explain mountains, doesn't explain the paleomagnetic ocean floor, doesn't explain distribution of earthquakes and volcanoes, etc. Plate tectonic does explain all these. Solid rock is viscous at high temperature. The viscosity of mantle is about 10^20 Pa s. Such a material dissipates stresses related to tectonics easily over timescales of millions of years.

A scietific theory is accepted because it undergoes strenuous re-examination as well as being used to predict events that can be examined. The hypothesis of global expansion has no supporting evidence and has not survived peer review therefore it is a failed hypothesis and not a theory.
The reason the ocean floor didn't form mountains due to continental drift: is that the barrier between the ocean floor and the continental plates forms a subduction zone. What this means is that the continents move over the ocean floor. The ocean floor is also moving constantly as the rifts in both the atlantic and pacific continue to produce new ocean floor and the edges are pushed under the continents into the earths mantel to melt and eventually form ne material.

Pangea is fact the coast ines match the mineral deposits match, The earth is 4.55 billion years old, evolution is true and makes no statement one way or the other about a god or about the begining of life. All these things are accepted by the scientific community and are used to make accurate predictions of where to dig for oil, which fossils will be found where, what gems will be found in which locations.

The rifts on the ocean floor show expansion not subduction new floor is been made as we speak at about one inch per year, California moving apart is part of that expansion. The earth is still growing. Cost lines do match. Geographically they where once together in a much smaller earth. Subduction happens at the continental plates not the mid ocean rifts were new ocean floor is produced. @davidgran1967 Subduction does indeed occur. California is moving apart because an ocean is infact opening up but sea floor is also destroyed once it becomes too old and rigid. There used to be the Farallon plate that subducted. It was a rather shallow subduction and the proof is the formation of the Rocky Mountains as well as Sierra Nevada. The remaining pieces of the Farallon plate includes the modern day Juan de Fuca plate. And now, you guys may continue. Peace.

You called some form of energy that you don't know what it is. Gravity is the weakest bond between objects on a molecular level, however when scaled up to the planetary scale it becomes the most powerful force.
The reason for this is that gravity acts at a far greater range than all other forces, ie the strong force, electromagnetic force, and the weak force. Actually this animation shares the fundamental features of the expanding earth theory: 1) continents begin attached, then all "move away" from each other, same as EE, and 2) sea level gradually falls, same as EE.
It's just two ways of interpreting the same evidence. Just like someone in 1200 AD watching the sun move across the sky could conclude either that the sun is moving around the earth, or the earth is going around the sun -- from exactly the same evidence.

Okay stoner, um you do realize Pangea was about 300 million years ago and the planet is 4.55 billion years old, there was a lot of time for the continents to move around in other configurations. We know that the plates move because we have measured their movement directly. The mantle is not liquid, it's the consistency of red-hot steel. The outer core is liquid, and the inner core is solid. We know that from the study of seismic waves.

If you are referring to the ocean floor between the continents, new ocean floor is continuously being created at mid-ocean ridges. This happens today in the Mid-Atlantic ridge. Where plates are spreading apart, hot mantle rises up as magma to fill the gaps. This is called a divergent plate boundary.
For examples, just look around the rim Pacific ocean, where the land is being subducted by Asia and the Americas. All along the subduction zone are volcanos stretching from the Phillipines to the Aleutian islands to Seattle to Chile, nick named the "Ring of Fire". Pacific crust is pushed under the continents and rises to the surface again as volcanic rock.

Plate Tectonics spreading the land is such a lie. Continents do not drift, drag or float across ocean floors. They are stuck to the earth layer. The Earth Grew more then 50% over billions of years do to fast spin.
You put all the continents together in to one round global mass like a puzzle, showing an Earth without an ocean and perfectly fitting.
The "once again" was to connote that in the same way a collision on an astronomical scale will not be noticed, similarly a continental collision will not noticed. This is primarily because of the gradual slowly occurring nature of the collision.

Actually, if you search google for "Palemap" you'll find a great site that has shows maps of future world geography (+50, +100, and +200 MA). I'm not sure what data the maps are derived from, but they are interesting nonetheless.

A scietific theory is accepted because it undergoes strenuous re-examination as well as being used to predict events that can be examined. The hypothesis of global expansion has no supporting evidence and has not survived peer review therefore it is a failed hypothesis and not a theory.

The reason the ocean floor didn't form mountains due to continental drift: is that the barrier between the ocean floor and the continental plates forms a subduction zone. What this means is that the continents move over the ocean floor. The ocean floor is also moving constantly as the rifts in both the atlantic and pacific continue to produce new ocean floor and the edges are pushed under the continents into the earths mantel to melt and eventually form ne material.

Pangea is fact the coast ines match the mineral deposits match, The earth is 4.55 billion years old, evolution is true and makes no statement one way or the other about a god or about the begining of life. All these things are accepted by the scientific community and are used to make accurate predictions of where to dig for oil, which fossils will be found where, what gems will be found in which locations.

The rifts on the ocean floor show expansion not subduction new floor is been made as we speak at about one inch per year, California moving apart is part of that expansion. The earth is still growing. Cost lines do match. Geographically they where once together in a much smaller earth. Nothing that you have mention is exclusive to your theory and that is why its still a theory.

@davidgran1967 Subduction does indeed occur. California is moving apart because an ocean is infact opening up but sea floor is also destroyed once it becomes too old and rigid. There used to be the Farallon plate that subducted. It was a rather shallow subduction and the proof is the formation of the Rocky Mountains as well as Sierra Nevada. The remaining pieces of the Farallon plate includes the modern day Juan de Fuca plate. And now, you guys may continue. Peace.

Actually this animation shares the fundamental features of the expanding earth theory: 1) continents begin attached, then all "move away" from each other, same as EE, and 2) sea level gradually falls, same as EE.
It's just two ways of interpreting the same evidence. Just like someone in 1200 AD watching the sun move across the sky could conclude either that the sun is moving around the earth, or the earth is going around the sun -- from exactly the same evidence.

Okay stoner, um you do realize Pangea was about 300 million years ago and the planet is 4.55 billion years old, there was a lot of time for the continents to move around in other configurations. On top of that I don't really get what your trying to say. Are you saying that the oceans couldn't exist before the continents moved? If you are, simply put there has always been an ocean or oceans as long as water has been present on the cooled earth.

The big bang only requires energy to exist to produce matter once the first protons and electrons come into existance the first atom automatically forms Hydrogen. We know that the plates move because we have measured their movement directly. The mantle is not liquid, it's the consistency of red-hot steel. The outer core is liquid, and the inner core is solid. We know that from the study of seismic waves.

LOL...Birds have strong bones . The fossils found of the Dragon Flies had gossamer like wings it would have been impossible for them to flap their wings even if they were made from Carbon Nanotubes. Think for a bit how come the largest animal that can survive on the land today is so small compared to a huge dino. More than Ten times the size they would not be able to move their necks today without breaking them.

I may add that birds bones are hollow to allow flight. What you were claiming was the fact that we had huge insects which there were, but it was not due to the earth being smaller with less gravity. The same reason there were large animals is the same reason for very large plant life. More Oxygen... The more Oxygen available the larger organism will grow.

If you are referring to the ocean floor between the continents, new ocean floor is continuously being created at mid-ocean ridges. This happens today in the Mid-Atlantic ridge. Where plates are spreading apart, hot mantle rises up as magma to fill the gaps. This is called a divergent plate boundary.

For examples, just look around the rim Pacific ocean, where the land is being subducted by Asia and the Americas. All along the subduction zone are volcanos stretching from the Phillipines to the Aleutian islands to Seattle to Chile, nick named the "Ring of Fire". Pacific crust is pushed under the continents and rises to the surface again as volcanic rock.

Plate Tectonics spreading the land is such a lie. Continents do not drift, drag or float across ocean floors. They are stuck to the earth layer. The Earth Grew more then 50% over billions of years do to fast spin.

The "once again" was to connote that in the same way a collision on an astronomical scale will not be noticed, similarly a continental collision will not noticed. This is primarily because of the gradual slowly occurring nature of the collision.
