  • Well erpy, typically I can't sit still long enough at a computer to watch much but I watched all 12 of the of "Portrait" clips and now my ass feels like I sat in that chair of Glenn's. Thanks though!

  • He died on the 4th of October, the day before my birthday - I seem to recall that date for that reason. He was such an important figure in Canada (and the world) that we young elementary school students were told of his death while at an assembly. I'll never forget that.

  • I think it's István Anhalt's "Fantasia" (1919), which Gould recorded on July 25, 1967 at the 30 Street Studio in New York City.

    You can find it on the album "Glenn Gould Plays Contemporary Music" (Sony Classical).
