  • thanks, dude

  • thanks a lot^^

  • great video dude, just a note... in the pre-chorus riff, the last note sounds different the first time he plays it to the secound.. so first time around its 557 putting your finger on the 4th string and second time around its 555 barring the whole note, and so on. try it! great lesson by the way

  • no te entiendo ni papa

  • I think you keep playing the intro over and over is because its so fun to play!

  • what's your guitar?

  • mark did write this song, i heard it on a plus 44 demo a few years.

  • its not in drop d

  • @IAmMusicianMan yes it is

  • @littleredguitars2 you are right it is in drop d

  • @IAmMusicianMan Yes it is.

  • Dude... thanks for the up but you oversimplied this a bit too much.

  • do you mute anything when you play the first open chord on the chorus? just wondering your preference if you mute the g b e and strum the whole guitar or only play d a d?

  • @tosh61 just play the strings you're holding down. dont worry about the g b or e strings

  • @littleredguitars2 I mean where you play D A D (E A D) open for the beginning of the chorus, you only strum those three with the top three strings unmuted, or do you strum the whole guitar with the top three "muted"?

I'm wondering which was easier when playing drop D because normally I just mute what I don't play and strum the whole thing, but because of the open chord I want to know what's easier.

  • @tosh61 as long as you're not hearing the extra strings, it doesnt matter. so do whatever feels more comfortable

  • Nice dude. It's currently one of the few fav songs on the new album. Guess cause it has that blinkish plus 44sh sound.

  • The intro riff ends on a power chord with the 9th in the top. Then the second time it ends on just the power chord with the octave on top.

  • awesome lesson! i was just wondering when the bridge part is actually played in the song

  • Awesome video, man. Loving the T-Shirt, too! Blink rullesssss.

  • where did you get that tshirt?

  • did you buy that guitar? 3500?

  • You are intense! SUBSCRIBED!

  • whats on your amp?

  • @beshba blue yoshi. he likes to hang out there

  • @littleredguitars2 thought so man! sweet lesson favorite song off the album!

  • thanks man, nice cover!

  • i really really like your tone what do you use? That sound is amazing

  • @TheGreendayfan29 gibson les paul classic. peavey valve king

  • isnt the last chord in the intro different the second time he plays it?

  • @RomaniukRocks yes it is, exactly.

  • Damn man ! Guitar lesson already? You don't fuck around don't you?

  • gosh you are fast !
