i work at butte avaition and i was there the day of this he called final 33 over the radio never saying anything wrong! the pilot was a old navy pilot 2500 hours pc12 time, i think he had a heart attack, plane wasnt over weighted, and there was no co pilot, the weather wasnt bad, i heard the plane blow up sad story

plane maybe overloaded over gross weight. Looks like pilot error! Pilot failed to maintain speed. VERY IMPORTANT TO MAINTAIN AIRSPEED IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN. # 1 Mistake pilots make on final or approaching a airpot. What a disaster!!!!!!!!!
