Jada is my fave, but then I adore Aussies. Should be getting my puppies mid-Jan, will attend their delivery about Dec.1. Parents are trackers. Aussies can do anything. Believe me, I know. My 12-yr-old Aussie passed 4/2011, and I still have my delightful old Aussie/Border mix. Great vid. Inspiring me to learn to throw a disc at my advanced age.

Wow, dedicated and skilled training brings out the best in these intelligent dogs! Way to go!!! They are both pretty incredible, but your Aussie doing tricks like standing on your feet and chest just blow me out of the water, so he/she's got my vote :)

Great video.. sweet dogs! I'm partial to Borders though! Curious... when you started disc dog stuff- did anyone help you with routines or when you were getting stuck on certain moves/tricks? All I have is internet support... which can only go so far... so our disc game has kinda plateaued :/

Awesome! I have a red merle puppy and really want to get her trained to catch frisbees. I can only imagine the time you have put in with your Aussies. While the frisbee training is unbelievable I am most impressed with the feet stand trick. How did you train for that trick. Well Done!!!

Both of them have been playing with discs since I brought them home at 8 weeks. Jada is 5 and Max is 4. It doesn't take very long to train them, however.

gotta say max, cause my mother has a border collie called max, and he kinda looks a bit like yours. and it looked like he could jump higher than jada. bud jada had a crazy amount of energy. both dogs are awesome, and you've done a great job with them.

grlsoslck224: Any dog who is interested in chasing objects can be taught to play frisbee. Also any dog who is motivated by food or play can be taught tricks. =) So yes a cocker spaniel qualifies.

I used 5 Hyperflite Jawz Extreme Comps for an entire year of practicing and competing.

Just recently I switched to the Hero Disc Super Heros. They seem to hold up just as well.

Max is very handsome and good, but my favorite is Jada. I love both Border Collies and Aussies, but I gotta say: Aussies are my favorite. I'm thinking about getting an Aussie. Are they easy to train?
