Jada is my fave, but then I adore Aussies. Should be getting my puppies mid-Jan, will attend their delivery about Dec.1. Parents are trackers. Aussies can do anything. Believe me, I know. My 12-yr-old Aussie passed 4/2011, and I still have my delightful old Aussie/Border mix. Great vid. Inspiring me to learn to throw a disc at my advanced age.
Wow, dedicated and skilled training brings out the best in these intelligent dogs! Way to go!!! They are both pretty incredible, but your Aussie doing tricks like standing on your feet and chest just blow me out of the water, so he/she's got my vote :)
hey FreestyleNW, i have a 9month mini aussie and will be training him for disc very soon. i wanted to know, what disc and size are you using w/your aussie? any preference? thx!
Great video.. sweet dogs! I'm partial to Borders though! Curious... when you started disc dog stuff- did anyone help you with routines or when you were getting stuck on certain moves/tricks? All I have is internet support... which can only go so far... so our disc game has kinda plateaued :/
Jade is the most beautiful, but Max is the most fun to look at, since he jumps higher in this movie. Good luck with your matches and a lot of long happy hours with Jade and Max!!
what method of training do you find works the best when training your dogs, i recently adopted a 4.5 months lab/shepherd and i could use the advice. Cause i want her on max and jada's level
My aussie is a Red Merle. Im teaching her to catch a frisbee while its in the air... So far all she can do is if i throw it directly to her she can catch it. She is 4 months old. Do you have any tips for me? Help me out please and thankyou.
Wow,amazing.I prefere Max,but both of them are great. How can u throw the frisbee with that strange effect??I mean when the frisbee starts going down and then goes up.I'm training my puppy border collie and also mself to throw correctly
Very cool work! We're just starting with our 8 month old sheltie. His name is Trapp.I have you bookmarked, and will take a look at your other vids.Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! I have a red merle puppy and really want to get her trained to catch frisbees. I can only imagine the time you have put in with your Aussies. While the frisbee training is unbelievable I am most impressed with the feet stand trick. How did you train for that trick. Well Done!!!
wow i have an aussie that i really want to be like that which i am going to start training a 3 year old spoiled australian shepherd that i am sure can do just the same.
Jada is mine.....I am partial though, I have a blue merle. I'm teaching him now to catch a frisbee. He's 10 months old. How long have they been playing frisbee?
Both of them have been playing with discs since I brought them home at 8 weeks. Jada is 5 and Max is 4. It doesn't take very long to train them, however.
gotta say max, cause my mother has a border collie called max, and he kinda looks a bit like yours. and it looked like he could jump higher than jada. bud jada had a crazy amount of energy. both dogs are awesome, and you've done a great job with them.
I love that you incorperated some "Dance" into your freestyle! The backing through your legs, where both of you roll made some already great catches more fun! 5 Stars, all three of you! :O)
grlsoslck224: Any dog who is interested in chasing objects can be taught to play frisbee. Also any dog who is motivated by food or play can be taught tricks. =) So yes a cocker spaniel qualifies.
awesome max,but jada win,my 2 dogs are aussies,(a male blue merle and a femelle solid black),we do agility and frisbee catching.youre amazing with both of them.
That was awesome!!! I have a 5 month old Aussie that I wan't to start with some discs. Loved the balance routine off your feet!! Jada gets our vote! Any tips on getting started?
Max is very handsome and good, but my favorite is Jada. I love both Border Collies and Aussies, but I gotta say: Aussies are my favorite. I'm thinking about getting an Aussie. Are they easy to train?
I like Jada Cuz really I have two Aussies And Im currently training my two. What type of Frisbees are those and how long did it take to teach that to you aussie. Who was easier to teach Max or Jada?
Which I like the best? Jada of course, she's so psychotic, she's just freakin' out when frisbee's around :) As I wrote previously (below other your video), I jus LOVE such psychotic dogs! I like Max too of course ;)
You guys KICK ASSES as always!!!!! 5 stars for you!
no no no! jada is my favorite. i love how her little fluffy but wiggles when she runs! ahhh awesome vid jake. lol. earlier i was watching some vids of yalls and i was like "when is jake gonna get a new vid of jada". lol. thanx jake. awesome! :)

Can you share what brand of frisbee you find last the longest? I'm using Eurablend?

I used 5 Hyperflite Jawz Extreme Comps for an entire year of practicing and competing.
Just recently I switched to the Hero Disc Super Heros. They seem to hold up just as well.
