Be aware that this works great ... UNLESS ... you re-enter the car to get something you left in it and lock again without restarting the engine.
The Kia will turn ON anything you left on and drain the battery completely ... this happened to us (we both own Rios) 5 times before we finally figured out what was happening. :(
Our Honda Accord 2007 does the same thing. It lights up the panel for 10 seconds & then automatically turns it off. When you open the car through the remote, it only opens the drivers door & the panel lights up. Click it twice & it opens all doors.
Pretty neat! Didn't thought it has a battery saver in it. Happy to know that I won't have to boost my wife's car when she forget to close headlamps! Thanks
