  • What grade do u play at in the highland Games ?

  • wedding is really cool… yet save your marriage til the end..

  • anyone know where one could find sheet music to this song?

  • dude..............great discipline, not too fast or slow and you kept in rhythm, well done lad

  • Read the last few comments now my turn.

Phrasing terrific and timing perfect. (Only pipe bands play faster but solo stay firm on that timing)

Clearly playing a strong reed which gives the clearness to your notes.

Hat off to you mate, excellent playing.

  • Dear Piperrunaware..... I think I wrote my comment a little wrongly...... you play this absolutly great,- much better as I do...... and you have some great emphersizing passes and phrasings....... I realy love your playing. You are able to play this one like a piper,,,,, and not like a brass band..... so I do realy love your playing. My only negative point is, that you have a slight different phrasing than I do,- but that is cool.... Love it realy. Cheers

  • @hfranke07

    Thank you

  • Great sound from your chanter, realy rich tone dude. What chanter you using and what drone reeds are you using.

  • @pipersixtynine

McC2 with a Ross reed, and I can't think what drone reeds as the video was a long time ago - probably tupperware tenor \7 cane bass

  • Hi Piper, I am thinking of having bagpipes for my wedding march and would like to know the name of this melody? Thank you!

  • @laceyjonsie25

Hi, the tune is called 'Highland Wedding'.

    Cheers

  • your throw on d's could be more clearer

  • well played man.. it could of been a bit faster but you got all the notes drones perfect..fair play

  • very nice indeed, the phrasing was excellent, at the end you where getting a bit tired though :O) I loved it!! excellent piping!!

  • superb mate keep playing

  • what the name of this march?

  • wonderful my friend!! great tuning

    thanks for posting

  • Thanks

  • Great job.... all grade notes are in there.... wow... nice. Dont know if I like all your phrasings,- but you play it like bagpipe tunes,- not like a brassband stiff kind of way.... like it alot. Thank you for posting this one....

  • Cheers

I've always been one for band playing so my phrasing suffers when I play solo, though I've been working on that recently - I'll hopefully have made improvements for my next lot of vids

  • thanks for posting this. This is one of my favourite 2/4 marches.

  • Man, you can play - how long have you been piping for? Nice job - keep the videos coming!

  • Thanks

Been playing for about 15 years or so now - hope to get more videos up soon

  • Which grade are you?

I think this march should be faster

  • This is a pretty poor attempt, I must admit, at a 2/4 march. Phrasing etc's pretty bad, but if I was playing in a solo comp I think the tempo wouldn't be far wrong. Just my opinion tho!

I play in grade 1, band and solo - only when my playing's better than this ;)

  • wat band?

  • I'm playing with the Tayside Police at the moment

  • kl my m8 is in tayside connor stephens ur mint btw m8

  • Hmmm I think u been practicing Mr Jazza
