There are pros and cons to using high kicks in martial arts, but either way this gentleman's muscle control and precision are admirable. The demonstration technique is very good too; beginning with the movement done slowly helps the viewer note how the movement is properly executed.
right don't want to sound big headed but I could do that that kick multiple times in one move infact anyone with strong legs and good balance could all u need is practice
On little improvement to be done: raise your knee higher and not in front of you but sideways, this nearly double the force on impact... You are puting your knee in front, it does not maximise the dynamics. Circular force is more powerful.
Thanks a lot bro, I can make nice mawashi geris, only in short time limit. In muay thai we just call it High kick. But I would like to do it veeery slowly like you did just for showing of :P

Io te lo dico da praticante di shotokan, nn so se il tuo stile cambia, ma questo calcio è da fondamentale, nn è da utilizzare in combattimento. =)

How do you train your legs to keep em that high very slowly?
Arabichotshot 3 years ago
Stretching excercises for flexibility. Then, I would use the following things when i do mawashigeri:
Listening body's center of the gravity,
Tighting the leg joints. :)
