why cant we get lego/megablocks/kre-o transformer sets that once put together they can transform from alt mode to robot mode? we have people putting there own home made lego transformable transformers together so we know it is possible.

@optibotimus yeah but think about. with a big company like hasbro you'd think that they would have the ability to make a brick transformer set transformable and make it look good in both modes. they are on a good start with the robot mode mins some tweaks here and there for some of the robots. ive warm up a little but i still want a transformable legoish transformer.

Megablocks made buildable Transformers a while ago.

There was Hot Rod and Ultra Magnus, if I remember correctly.

They wouldn't transform from robot to vehicle unless you removed parts.

I like Thundercracker. I actually picked this set up just for him. Its a nostalgia thing for me. I think the reason folks like it is because of HOW garish it is, not because it's a seeker mold. Same folks that loved G2, the G2 set from last year, and all that. I can definitely appreciate how its not for everyone though.

@Teeheehee093 because these aren't mass released. They convention exclusives. Typically speaking, you pay more for figures that are rare like these are. Only 1500 (of the autotrooper set and toxitron/sideswipe) and 1800 (galvatron/thundercracker) of each of these figures got made

@lulzwtfo0 it's not conducive with filming or photography though with the setup i have. If i used it permanently in the future, i'd have to figure out some different lighting arrangements. The way it is now, it causes too much shadowing and i don't like that. It gives the look a dark tone which i don't care for too much. It works well with white figures cause of the contrast...but i'm not sure how well it would look with regular colored figures

@JmanLegoDude that's fine...The white is better in mine and most peoples opinions. It gives a sharpness to the figures themselves. It's why photographers oftentimes will use white backgrounds and such. That combined with the fact using an HD camera...the more light you can pull into the camera lense, the higher the definition or as i said previously..."sharper" the image looks. White reflects light a lot more so it helps with that effect

@JmanLegoDude it really doesn't matter...i'm not replacing the white with the grey.  The grey background is only going to be used when the figure i'm reviewing is predominantly white. The white is still a very nice and clean background to use for reviews

From all Botcon repaints there are only two that are not so good in my eyes. Those are Shattered Glass Skywarp becouse of its color scheme and that Galvatron whose alternity mode dosen't scream Galvatron for me.
