i love the smoke. we have a small farm and i help out and i love when we have to go out and feed hay to our cows down the road then i can get her just smoking.
Ya we only run the chip at 30% when where not pulling something very hard. And that's why we got a EGT (exhaust gas temp.) gauge in it. You keep it under 1200*F and your good to go all day.
you're playing with fire there...i know a guy that has an 8310 and put it on 30% pulling a plow it made two rounds and burned up a piston....cost 10000 to rebuild the motor
