Hi Larry. I've been watching your Hackamore training videos and got myself one but My question is this. when starting a horse out on a hackamore, do you get better results if they are softer faced in a snaffle or can you get a softer and more giving face just as good using a hackamore?? I suppose what I'm trying to say is do you get better results in a hackamore if your horse is soft and light in a snaffle than you would if they are resistant to a snaffle bit??
@thatschill777 It depends on the horse and what I need to do. If you look at my other video clip about training with a hackamore, you'll get a better idea of how I like them shaped and adjusted.

I reall enjoy your vids, but do you prefer the bosal loose like that? Or do you typically shape them with a block?
