It runs on higher mega hertz, it has a newer version of opengl and supports higher shaders, not to mention the ARM component that they put in. stop trying to act like a know it all cause appearently u dont know it all.

It should be backwards compatible. It says it will be compatible with ipod touch in the trailer. It will probably just have better graphics on the 3GS.

The new iphone does not have better graphics. All of the graphics are based upon the OS you are using which will be 3.0. And FYI the ipod touch runs games btter than the iphone due to many reasons. One being the ipod is made for all music, games etc... while the iphone is made for phone calss and such. This sucks up some of the memory on you device.

Yes, the iPhone 3G[S] has better graphics. It has twice the processing speed, 256 MB of RAM (as opposed to 128 MB) and it use Open GL 2.

It can run WAYYYY better graphics than any other iDevice.

it has to be compatable with the older iphones, atlest for now. keep in mind that only 1 million 3gs have been sold as opposed to 40 million iphone/3g. developers always go where the money is.
