  • IM going to cry, at least he is doing well and in good hands and seems to be in no pain. Thank you for rescuing him :D <3

  • whats wrong with hes legs?

  • There are times when my faith in humanity is restored, and this is one of them, god love ya for taking care of this precious kitty, i think if you google your question you'll find some answers, good luck and many beautiful and bright blessings to you and your precious kitty^^

  • look at how much hes grown!

  • do you still have Forrest? ):

  • God bless you for what are doing for the cat. :-)

  • Why does he have to use a diaper? Can't he control his sphincter? mmm maybe the diaper would stay if you tied it to a collar....Sorry for not having better ideas..but I have never been in a situation like this. I'm glad there are people like you in this world. He seems a very happy cat, not really conscious about having any problem or disability...

  • acts like he don't have a disability!

  • There is a wheel chair for cats. Talk to the ASPCA for the best thing to do for your cat.

  • Could he start bleeding with his legs draging like that? Please respond!

  • aww That cat is sooo sweet :) x

  • i feel so sorry for Forrest beacuse he was abandoned and he is Disabled You are doing a good job takeing care of Him and His sister most people whould not like to have a pet like that.

  • aww i am so sorry for Forrest for his legs and he was abandoned

  • They make trolleys for disabled cats and dogs, I've seen the add for them in CatFancy. However, amputation is NOT needed for these trolleys. How isththe baby now?

  • wow...he can move!

  • what a awesome cat:) bless you and your kitty

  • i hate it when i see videos like this and people say that cats like this should be put out of their misery. he doesn't look miserable to me!

  • Have you ever tried to make a few diapers with really snug elastic? I'm not sure if your cat is used to a litter box, but you may consider buying a sort of short pan so he could pull himself into there to go potty. Even if you cut down a cardboard box to about half an inch to an inch... with a bit of litter in there he might be able to do that. But you would still have to clean his bottom with wipes every day.

  • The cat had no feeling in that area so your suggestion wouldn't have worked anyway.Go to the lady who posted web site with an update on Forrest.

  • sorry for ur cat

  • i feel bad for him, but at least he has a loving owner

  • You are very kind, wonderful people for helping this kitty...when I was a little girl had a paralized pet bird (chicken)and I place him on my brother's convertible car toy and he moved around better. I know there are people that can make wheels for this kind a problem. I really would love to see Forrest moving on back wheels!

  • look for some videos about Alera. He has the same problem has your kitty.

  • you're nice people

  • i wanted a kitten that fur of colour eighter but i just couldnt find it :( your kitty is beautiful :) very lovly

  • what happens when his back gets cut?

  • AHHHH!! At first I was like "what a cute little cat" when I saw that grotesque double leg hanging off its side.

  • he definitely needed a cart for his rear legs

  • Maybe someone should tear off your dick and feed it to you. Then we can kick you to death and you can burn in hell! Fucking retard!

  • his account is closed,i hope he rots

  • yer like everyone says, the best idea is to get a cat wheelchair for his behind legs, if you do happen to do this it would be delightful for you to make a video of him in his wheelchair and see him happy...Tom

  • It's not supposed to be funny...

  • funny in a cute kinda way i guess, unless ur sick and find this amusing that he cant walk

  • He's got gorgeous markings!

  • He seems like a very positive little guy.

Is there no way to get him a cat chair? So he doesn't have to drag his back legs?

  • he seems to deal with his disability so very well doesnt he. i love his markings and he has such an adorable personality and both you and forrest are so very lucky to find each other.

  • Ohhh. This makes me feel so bad. I hope it doesn't hrt him too bad to be dragging his bottom like that. You should get him one of those wheelchair things that are made for the rear end

  • aw poor little guy. I could imagine he must get infections from dragging his behind around doesnt he? Is there nothing the vet can do to fix that? how about having one of those little animal wheelchairs made for him??

  • Ngo (Thomas) uses human nappies for Alera and modifies them and they seem to stay put. Do Forrest's slide off or does he pull them off? Maybe the human ones are smaller than animal ones? Could you contact Thomas and ask? Alera isnt well at the moment by the way he has a urine infection poor boy

  • How's Forrest doing?

  • With the exception of an ulcer he has developed on his bottom - he is fat and sassy. Thanks for asking.

  • @mushquatah did he live in a giant bucket?

  • This might sound extreme...but I heard of a dog who was paralysed and they removed his hind legs and gave him a trolley with wheels to make him more mobile and prevent sores from dragging...just looks so awkward seeing him dragging his legs. I think you are doing a grand job with him. :-)

  • Thanks for the info. I had thought about whether he needed his hind legs but think that at this time he is better having them - for one thing, I think his diaper would not stay up and for another I am still hoping that a miracle may happen.

  • I'd be worried about his

    botton dragging on the concrete.

    Theres always the possibility of

wheels without removing his hind legs.

    He's fricken cute, though!

  • Best of luck with the new diapers! What a great Mom you are to Forrest. He is so so incredibly cute and it is obvious he loves YOU very much too. :*-)

  • I know exactly what you mean about being nervous having them outside. I was even getting nervous watching this. I just love all the love you give to Foster. He deserves so much! I hope the new items you are trying work out for you & Foster. God's blessings!

  • I know you've probably gotten this a lot but have you ever considered a little cart to strap him to so he can wander around? He's adorable and you're doing a good thing being so dedicated to him. ^_^

  • Yes, I am considered this but first I have to get his diapers to stay on especially with winter stepping in and his being in the house 24/7.

  • Your doing a great job. I fostered a paralyzed doxie and used a bib, the plastic large ones to tie around the diaper top and used to let her drag herself without scaffing. If you want pictures of this, email me at ratspeak AT gmail dot com.

  • Thanx, I will but I have ordered some special diapers with a chest harness. I will let you know if it works.

  • It looks like his little tail is moving more!

  • What about putting a harness on him - like the kind used for walking on a leash, and attaching the diaper to it somehow - with velcro attached to a short piece of cotton or nylon flat strapping? I've seen some harnesses out now that are made of nice soft cotton/nylon webbing - so that they are flexible, comfortable, and don't rub off the hair beneath. Might be the most minimalistic way to anchor the diaper to the front of Forrest, as that would appear to be the only way it will stay put.

  • I ordered some special diapers and a harness today - wish us luck!!

  • wow. yur very kind for taking care of that little kitten :) i have lots of respect for you. see you :)

  • I've forwarded a couple Forrest links to a friend who is studying to become a Vet, I'll see if she has any suggestions.

Poor little guy, the other kitties won't play with him? I wonder if they sense he's different?

  • Thank you so much.

  • There is a device called the "cat sock" that hooks over the front legs and covers the back end. I found it on a website that carries cat carts/wheelchairs. The bottom part is nylon so they can "run" all over. I guess if you cut "arm" holes in the top of the sock and slip it through the front legs it might help keep the diaper on.

WE LOVE FORREST!! Keep us posted and give him tons of hugs for us.

  • We will - thanks.
