  • Hey man! It's ReconMarine from chargerforums. How is the beast runing these days? I love the sound of this system. I still smile every time i turn her over. Best mod by far next to the Predator.

  • Oh okay........ I pretty much have the same muffler on my whip, but the drone inside the car is driving me crazy. Is there any suggestions? I'm thinking about doing the resos thing. Check out my vid.

  • How does it sound inside the car is it too loud?

  • @Mgriggs2 Not too loud at all. Some drone at times...but at higher speeds it goes away. It's loud when you want it to be, and pretty tame when you need it to be as well. It's a great system in my opinion. The slight drone is bearable....and I've gotten used to it. In fact....I'd hate to get rid of it! It's a much better sound than stock...which is WAY too quiet.....again...in my opinion.

  • @ryoreyjr what kind of magnaflow is on it?

  • @MrPLANTACIOUS my discription is listed on the comments....just keep reading below....you'll see the model number and how I hooked it all up. thanks for the comment.

  • Hey, I'm thinking aboutvgetting the tuner for my challenger 3.5. Did u feel a major difference in the performance?

  • @jlquinones Yes, I immediately felf the difference in throttle response, acceleration, and overall "feel" of the driving experience. A Diablosport Predator tuner will quickly give you good results from a rather inexpensive modification. My recommendations for first three mods to a charger/challenger are: tuner, exhuasts, and cold air intake. Good luck.

  • how much did this cost you? i have about $600 at the moment..

  • @thexmikesterx That should be enough to get it done. You should be able to get a full stainless system for $600. Find a good exhuast shop and either bring the muffler and tips to them if you want. Muffler and tips should be around $170. Stainless pipes and labor will run you a few hundred dollars for installation. Good setup....well worth it. Good luck.

  • @ryoreyjr is there any special modifications that i should know about to make that perfect "purr"?

  • @thexmikesterx As far as "perfect purr".....remember...this is a v6 and if it were side by side with a v8 you would definitely hear a difference. However, this particular exhaust setup paired with a good cold air intake and a Diablosport Predator will really improve the sound and performance of the 3.5L Charger.

  • @ryoreyjr alright, sounds good! i have a 2011 Dodge Charger with a 3.6L V6 in it and i can definitely tell that it will sound perfect once i get an exhaust and cold air intake because it sounds really good even with the stock exhaust. the only thing about the stock exhaust is that it muffles all of it and takes away from that "muscle car" feeling,

  • @thexmikesterx Is yours a single or dual exhaust? When you change out the stock muffler with a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler (or any other good muffler mfg) you'll hear nicer tones. I chose to use a single muffler underneath with no resonators. Resonators do reduce drone, but quiet down the overall sound a bit.....and I wanted some more sound.

  • @ryoreyjr its a dual exhaust, and thanks for all of your tips! i will probably post a video up sometime of the sound of my car stock and then i will have another one after i get the magnaflow exhaust system :D

  • hey man, this sounds great. I'm looking for the exact thing for my 2010 V6 charger. Any help on where I can get it/tips for easy install would be great!

  • @ezhawk1 I used a Magnaflow muffler (dual in dual out product #11385) & Magnaflow 4" Tips (#35121). I had this custom installed....all stainless. I DID NOT use resos...just a single suitcase muffler centered under the car. I bought the parts from performance peddler.........hit me up for info on how to get a great discount with free shipping.

  • These things sound so much better on a 3.5. I have a 2.7 and it sounds ok. Good buy dude!

  • @BoStErO1905

Thanks man. I was researching the right exhaust for a while and thought this one sounded pretty good....and the cost was right where I needed it. So much better than stock. I didn't really want it any louder than it is....so I have no complaints. Thanks again for the comment !! Cheers !!

  • @ryoreyjr
