@redwhitedude Uyghurs were caught at an Al Qaeda training camp. To the international community they don't have to look any further but the personal reasons for those uyghurs were likely independence from China because China suppress their rights which across the world enjoys their right and they can't. Also no other turkic nations are willing to train them as they are afraid of China or love China (Pakistan).

It seems to me that China is overreacting it's kind of hard to justify the treatment of Uyghurs unless they carried out a Sept.11th type of attack on China. If the Al Qaeda terrorist hadn't struck the US on sept 11th it would have been very difficult to justify what the US did to Afghanistan.

Just finished watching a group of adults terrorize an 8 yr old boy on youtube for being Uighur. I`m having trouble mustering up sympathy for child beaters. China boasts about it`s forces. @Elbottoo Well the problem is that I am suspicious of chinese intent on this area. China has been known to try to twist the histories of various peoples who historically have not been part of Chinese control. So this gives them a pretext to justify harder measures against those minorities who don't toe the official line and facilitate chinese claims on these regions. Chinese have been butting heads over this with Tibet and Koreans because of fear of losing territory to them.
