  • Awesome results. I am on day 10 and loving it! The only thing I can't do all the way through yet is plyometrics. At around 30 mins I am totally done. And my knees and ankles are killing me. Other than that I can do all of the other videos fully. This is great motivation for me. Thanks.

  • something about skinny ripped older men make me sick. I would perfer being a body builder with 4 inch pecs

  • @shewshew22 : You should keep your opinions to yourself; the probability is that you're not perfect and may have the same effect on someone else.

  • Wow brother, great work and video! Since you've been doing p90x, how has it helped you in your golf game?

Im a golfer as well.. not a good one, but enjoy i it a lot! :)

  • @fernie02 - aside from the obvious strenght gain, flexibility has been the major change; better turn and gained swing speed.

  • Dude your an animal golf pro!!! Real work no games!!!! Bring it!!!!!!

  • @berraco47 It has been a while since I have been here..

Thanks bro! still at it -

  • what do you use?

  • awsome stuff! keep up the good work!!!

  • great results. I'm starting on Monday for my first round of P90X. Hope to get in the best shape of my life.

  • HI Dallas, - You will get in the best shape of your life. Enjoy the journey!

  • Hi Dallas!- this program will change your life and you will be in the best shape of your life- if you need any help or advice let me know

  • I'm a golfer as well and I was wondering the effects you noticed after completing P90x both in your swing stability and distance on the course.

  • HI Matt,

I personally feel I have to swing easy to stay in control. Control at the moment is swinging at an eight in a scale of 10. If I swing harder to get an extra 15yds like I would love to, I will have to switch shafts. As far as distance goes, I have gained 10+ yds on my irons and enough with my woods that I know feel I can be competive in my pro tournaments.

  • i was gonna ask the same question... lol. im on day ten and i was worried it would screw up my swing. i dont wanna ruin my scholarship possibilities. lol

  • Hi Ty,

It will not mess you up, you might have to get use to being more explosive and trying to stay in control. Your rhythm and tempo will be key to adjusting. Also keep in mind that as you gain strength and get stronger and your swing speed increases, you might have to have to change your shaft flex.

    thomas

  • awesome! thank you. i already do have stiff shafts... would i have to go to super stiff?

cause i love my clubs.. lol

  • Hello do you mind me asking how old you are im thinking about showing it to my dad but hes 56 im not sure how appropriate it is...

  • hey man, im sorry i wasnt calling you skeptik your right you werent being skeptik i was saying other people my writing is unclear lol... good job once again are u doing p90x plus becuase im looking to get it

  • No worries bro, gotta keep bringing it!

  • No worries! got done with those and moved on to Insanity workouts- after that I'll be back to P90X for another round.

  • Wow very impressive !!!

  • thanks aleose- you doing the X as well?

  • thanks aleose!

  • wow 5 stars, awesome

  • Thanks factip

  • realy nice results how often do you had to do it a week

  • Hi Lote,

I worked out everyday- six times a week. My seventh day was a rest day/ stretching. I was not limber and I needed the flexibility so I decided to do the stretch on the seventh day. Thanks!!

  • congrats man!! That is wonderful to see. I am starting p90x this week and that is encouraging to see. You seem to be already in decent shape when you started just with a little excess body fat. I am the same way and that really motivates me. How strict were you with your diet and workouts? did you ever miss a workout? did you ever cheat on your diet or did you push yourself to do everything perfectly as suggested for the whole 90 days? Congrats again!!!

  • HI Californiawhyno- in terms of strictness in diet, I was a somewhat strict on the first 30..I changed to 100% strictness and following the diet plan and everything that went into my mouth after the first 30 days. I did not miss any workouts in the first 90 days and I did not cheat (not even thru Thanksgiving).

I pushed myself because I wanted to have the changes! Thanks for your comments. TT

  • Wow.... that is just awesome. I bought the

P90X program last year but haven't started it yet. I need the equipment, pull up bar and barbell weights. Watching you is an inspiration to get started!

  • Midyrvette- hope to see you around and getting started with the X. If you don't have those two, a resistance band will do the trick for starters; if you have the pull-up bar and dumbells- even better..good luck! let me know how you are coming along.

  • i completed 90 days n im in highschool a sophmore im sitll doing it i started in september i lost over 40 pounds it works i couldnt even do one chinup not even one now i can do 20 in a row... i was 200 plus n now im floating around like 165 area.. it wasnt that hard to stay committed,i really wanted to change n get strong and honestly it wasnt that hard to do everyday, p90x is now my religon everyone has to get it, it works you seem skeptical oh these people are fakes i thought that this is real

  • Hi- glad to see that the X has become a part of your life and the changes you have been able to achieve thus far. I don't see where I seem to be skeptical about the X. Good job on your changes!

  • lol you look better than your son (if its your son) at the beach

  • I am grinning and smiling from ear to ear..Thanks!!!

  • those straight arm lifts you do with the ball thing are sketch you're using more momentum to lift it than actual muscle slow the moves down and you'll see much better results im only on day 23 and my bench press has increased 25-30 pounds nice job though man congrats

  • Thanks for the tip! ssbb492.. hope you are doing well

  • you look great. You impressed me with the pushups...wow

  • Thanks for your comments blackllly624.

  • very n1ce

  • Thanks!

  • one word.... AWESOME

  • Thanks seansymons

  • BRAVO!!!! My husband and i will start challenge. We ordered the program Dec 22,08 but it hasn't arrived yet. I know that it's going to be hard, but worth it. keep up the good work. looking forward to seeing more videos:)

  • HI mynaps01- thanks for the comment. Look forward to seeing how you guys come along with the X. Let me know how are you coming along and if you need any help along the way.

  • DAMN dude nice job, very nice job, and nice house too lol

  • Thanks Bone

  • great job - how has your golf game adjusted through this? I just started p90x 10 days ago and play golf as well. I'm curious how it will change. awesome

  • HI snowdogs14- honestly I've had to major adjustments. All good though, I had to re-learn my distances- I've gained 10 to 1 yards per iron. I had to re-shaft my woods because I could not keep them on the planet ;) if you know what I mean..everywhere. I gained 22 yds per drive.

  • Thanks for the reply. I'm on day 47 and made it through Turkey Day, Christmas (Parties, New Yrs with all the workouts done. My nutrition waiverd a bit but I'm back on track. I'm excited to get on the course to see how my new flexibility, strength, focus will adjust my game. I'm a 3.5hcp now and plan to be scratch by yrs end. Thanks for the reply.

  • Hey man great results I'm on my 3 phase/week and yup's my cloths seem bigger lol, i'm feeling changes and all... Once i reach my 30th day i will post a video up and so on, but great results man, def. 5 stars on that effort, quick question, meals and what not, i know what proteins to take, and how to eat but diff. options of meals would be good of a change, any advise?

  • Sorry for so long on the reply but have been out of comission. In terms of eating different meals... everyone is different in what they like but I tend to stick to the things that are working for me.. turkey sandwiches, plain fat free yogurt mixed with whey protein and fruit/ plenty of whey protein drinks.

  • If you want something healthy and out of the norm, you can get the organics pizza (feta & spinach on whole wheat organic pizza)--deeelish.. trying to get where you want is all about eating the good fats (staying with fat free stuff and using olive oil), supplements (multivitamins, whey protein, recovery drink, chondroitin & glucosamine, omega-3's) as well as eating your fruits, vegetables, & lean proteins.

  • How about egg white omelette with fat free cheese/ turkey bacon on whole wheat or pumpernickel bread sandwich. 2. kashi lean cereal mixed with plain fat free yogurt with a couple of scoops of whey protein for breakfast (you can add a banana).how about healthy pancakes (email me and I'll send you the recipe).

  • 3. for lunch or dinner - turkey meatballs on whole wheat spaghetti.. if you would like more suggestions let me know.. again, sorry for the delay...I hope this helps and at the same time hope you are bringing the "X" to its knees..

  • well done

  • Thanks! BoSSHoGG813

  • Hi!-- glad you could stop by and make a comment.

In regards to your question- and you being in your first 30 days, keep this in mind:

1.) This is the adjustment period. Your body is getting into the schedule and tempo of your workouts. It is adjusting to your new nutrition habits. Expect some differences, perhaps not the drastic visual differences you crave but your clothes will become baggier.

2.) Stay the course during this period and with the next 2 faces, you'll start seeing the changes.

  • man, good job,why it works for everyone and not for me?!!!,im on my 3rd week but to be honest i dont see shit lol,any ideas why???im on really xtreme diet,i follow the program step by step and i dont see shit,i lost a lil bit of weight but not a big deal so any ideas why??

  • elranas666- sorry about that but could have sworn I answered your question. First month things are slow and you only get to feel ( loose clothing)you body is losing fat in sheets and does not spot fat. The second month you will see more changes as well as your third. How is your good fats intake?? necessary to lose more lbs and fat!!

  • im almost done with my 2 phase, and i cant really tell if im losing wait or not, see, theres i shirt it used to be really tight and isnt now as much,i problably lost some weight but my low belly is stil there and it looks funny cuz everything else its fine but that belly still there, lol,in 3rd phase is it where the changes come or what, cuz i feel like if i havent seen enough on 1 2 phases why would i see any on the last one??

  • Hey pincheRanas69,

check this post about the 90 days and what to expect. If you have any more questions- let me know. question: how strict and commited have you been on your nutrition??

  • well about nutrition,i've been very very stricted,i reall watch what i eat,to be honest theres time i dont eat but not really cuz i want to lose fat is just i work too much, and i work at TEXAS ROADHOUSE is a BBQ place,so i really rather not eat anything there,i ve been doing great when it comes to eatin,0 chheseburgers,0 pizza,0sugars,0 BEER(wich its been the hardest part of it)lol,so im good with eating,so the eating its good ,

  • I am sure you know but in case you don't- don't starve yourself. You have to eat every 2 to 3 hrs. If you work a lot you have to plan your meal and take snacks with you. If you don't eat for prolonged periods of time, your body tends to shut down, store fat and starts eating up that precious muscle you've worked so hard to achieve. Also, tell me you are getting 7 to 8 hrs of sleep.

  • well first thanx 4 answearing and helping me out i aprciate it lol no man i dont starve myself, what im saying theres just time you dont have time and you forget to eat,i started eatin every 2 or 3 hrs,so that 1 is good,i sleep 8 hrs sometimes more, lol, hey one more question whats the best way to drink whey protein??and it works??

  • Everyone's taste is different- you can take whey protein with water/ white grape juice (my favorite) / a sportsdrink (I personally stay away from them)/ soy milk. You can take whey protein as well mixed with fat free yogurt/ on smoothies/ certain dishes. I like white grape juice.

  • Who says golfers don't need to be fit? Impressive man! Has your long drive improved with your fitness by the way?

I see you had P90X+ mixed in there as well, what are your thoughts on that program?

  • Hey Mango, -drives have improved dramatically.

In re:to the X+ - it is a great all around workout; intense and non-stop. I see it as more of maintaining all the hard work achieved with the X. I still use it mainly on recovery weeks.

    Thanks for the comments.

    thomas

  • Thomas,

    awesome bro...just awesome!

    5 stars!

    Dennis

  • Thanks! Dennnis

  • Nice Job man!!! -I just started doing kettlebells replacing pullups on leg-and-back days. what's the pound that you were swinging and

do you think it's been effective?

    Thanks BB

  • Hi BB,

KB's are out of this world. Talk about improving in strength and endurance plus the whole body workout you get from them. I am swinging a 65 pounder. Overhead presses with my 35lb. Thanks for the comments bro!

  • Hell of a job bro!

  • Thanks cjflo- I've been working hard at it.

  • Great results m8! What supplements did you use?

Ow and didn't you rest inbetween, I mean... did you just work-out for an entire year without a break?

  • Thanks for the comments- I used P90X recovery drink, core nutrition pack (multi-vitamin, core omega 3's, calcium/mag), vanilla whey protein, & glucosamine & chondroitin.

I've done three rounds of the X plus another 90 days of Xplus, one on one's .I did take some weeks off during the year. Thanks again for the comments.
