However, I do feel that the focal point of his campaign is "Anti-Americanism", and he's using that extensively to muster up support. @EarthWormJim2008 No, see, anti-Americanism is not his point. He's said over and over again that he will help America and be its friend but will not hurt Pakistan just to do that. His policy is quite logical - be friends with everyone, as long as it doesn't harm us. Scandinavian countries are his models. It is difficult for any third world country to change that dramatically, again I would want to know the steps that he will take to do that. For example, what departments he will open/close

As a Canadian Pakistani, I really wanna know wht IK's agenda is. With the PPP's and PML's (Q & N) track record, U just can't trust anyone who comes into power. I'm not saying I'm for him, nor against him. Sure I live in Toronto, but I have family and friends back home, and I just really wanna C Pakistan rise to the point where no one back home would feel compelled to emigrate, and I can tell my non-desi friends here proudly, "That's my homeland". @EarthWormJim2008 See, that's my problem with the journalists - they are so focussed on asking silly question that they forget about policies!

As far as I know, Imran Khan wants to make Pakistan a welfare state. (I'm a supporter, but I want people to ask him how exactly he will do that). To sort out the safety problem, he wants to de-politicize the police so the police is not biased in who they catch and who they let go. He wants one education system - not english/urdu medium etc.

@pink2bluee When I think "welfare state", I look @ Scandanavia & other European states, Canada, US, Aus & NZ, and even the Gulf states as examples. For Pakistan to reach that point, it's gonna B a heck of a tall order. My assessment is that he intends to eliminate corruption through unbiased and unhindered accountability, revive the fortunes of the under-privileged, and target militancy & insurgency on our own terms instead of those dictated by the U.S.
