....What a dull boring bastard!! Why would I want to work for a dickhead like this? There are a lot more progressive and forward thinking recruitment businesses to go to! Imagine if you went for an interview with this guy?? You would give up after 2 minutes and give him a good punch!!
I have had experience working with agencies, both agencies ripped me off (4 weeks I worked 9am - 5pm Mon to Fri) They said I worked 25 hours.......Second agency a little better I complained about realising I got conned about money however no word.
I want to become a recruitment consultant HOWEVER actually help people get jobs not screw them over!

MAYBE it is the industry in Sydney that operates below par - i was there for several months in 2001 and found all the agencies i approached for temp work to be shite - however it doesn't mean all people run to the same standards.
Yes, my agency is small compared to the large High St. rip-off firms, but how do you come to the conculsion that i 'bullshit'? You sound like a one-track minded idiot who has a grudge for some reason.
If companies didn't want to use an agency then they don't have to. It's their choice to do so, at the end of the day.
Don't be stupid. I run a small agency that specialises in short-term staff sourcing at very short notice for businesses. Most businesses that use agencies do not have the time to advertise, interview, train new staff for short term work. This is where agents come into it.

Recruitment consultants are just sales mokeys. The majority of consultants I've had dealings with all bullshit me.
