This beats A LOT of other songs on The White Album - even some of the other George songs (it's better than Long, Long, Long & Savoy Truffle). I'd say that Not Guilty was better! They skipped on these for Wild Honey Pie???
Sounds like the backing tack of the Jackie Lomax version mixed with George's demo. Not bad. Sounds like they removed Lomax's vocals somehow. I hope someday an "official" version of this could be done, which would be the creation of a "new" Beatles song. There are lots of technical issues, not the least of which would be properly isolating George's vocals. George, Paul and Ringo play on the Lomax version and the song was written by Harrison, so this is about 90% a Beatles song already.
wow this is grate a white album out take i wood say george wrote grate songs too bad he was over shadowed by john and paul george should have been given more space on the beatles records for his songs thanks for posting this
I wouldn't really call this an outtake - it is a mashup of the backing track George produced for Jackie Lomax's version of the song mixed with a demo George recorded. I highly doubt a proper Beatles recording of this tune would have sounded like this.
@subg88 yes its a out fake but the beatles are playing on jackie lomaxs bacing tracks it is a fake yet its not a fake had the beatles wood have recorded this it wood have had backing vocals from john and paul so this recording is the nearest he have of a beatle version of this song thank you for your contact marvin
Revolution 9 takes too much precious space in the white album. If in its proper place (a john and yoko album) there would be room for a great song like this (and not guilty, perhaps). delicious.
Ringo WAS playing. The Jackie Lomax version's backing track was performed by McCartney, Harrison and Starr. He just added vocals to a Beatles performance, basically.
this is one of few songs not included in any Beatles album could be in. It's true: George's vocal is from Kinfauns sessions, music is from jackie Lomax single but can be a Beatles sessions cause include: Paul, Ringo and George with Clapton and Nicky Hopkins. bye marco from italy
Not real, but a mashup of acoustic George & the backing track of Jackie Lomax's version. I love it. Someone else had a version of this posted a while ago but it's gone.

I LOVE this song and wish it had been on a Beatles album--not that I'm the only person who's ever thought that.

The Clapton and Harrison Guitar solos from 1:58 to 2:30 kick butt.

All I can say: this edited record is só Beatles! even de drum track sounds just as if Ringo was playing. Superb!

I believe Ringo was actually playing the drums on this track.

Great audio editing! I love it!! I wonder why George never made a proper recording of this for a solo album (like he did for Circles and Not Guilty)
