It's sure more "sexy" and "sci fi" looking cooler, but you know what the real problem is...the fans are united with the cooler's body, so if one start to mulfunction or becomes noisy, you can not change it. A thing that you can do with the Noctua's coolers.

@Timbalo0 By the looks of the cooler the centre fan looks like it can be removed (pulled out the top) so there might be room to upgrade that. But all in all, do not forget that this is not the final product and it may change from now until release. Also, if they are marketing this as a "silent" cooler why would they want to allow someone to put stupidly loud fans on it! Also why should you have to replace the fans on ANY cooler! They "SHOULD" be good enough, sadly that is not the case though.

had a similar design zalman cooler before and would not touch this with a barge pole. if the cooler gets clogged with dust only way to clean them properly is to remove it completely strip it and wash the cooler through with running water.

Tom...you RULE!! I've been wanting to see this fan since I first noted it in your previously uploaded vid. The thing has such a cool appearance and good performance specs that I was thinking of using it as an alternative to a full water cooloing kit and Mayhem's pearlescent coolant. Going full on WC might not be a smart thing to try with my very first build. Can't wait til you do an in-depth testing and review to see if it's really worth all the hype.

@joa159 Crucial Balllistix "Tracer" RAM. The tops of the heat spreaders have integrated LEDs in them. They come in red, blue, green, and black(which flashes a combination of all the other three colors). Hope this helps :).
