roger is a great guy in real life and was a pretty good bond (although his acting wasnt that good he made some great films. and its still better than lazenby). BUT, he carried on to long and thats why he gets criticisim. i think moore should've stopped after FYEO or at least after octopussy. he was way too old in this film. dalton (the best bond IMHO) could've made this film alot better had he taken over earlier

I own only two James Bond films. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace - both brilliant. If I was to buy a third it would be On Her Majesty's Secret Service. As a kid I was a big Roger Moore fan - the Saint, the Persuaders and his early Bond films. He is a nice man, unlike Connery (Scottish nationalist who took a knighthood from the Queen - I ask you!!). But Moore is no killer. Craig kills like a killer. I love him!!

Jeżeli chodzi o "W tajnej służbie jej królewskiej mości" to miałem na myśli właśnie Lazenby'ego jako najgorszego Bonda, sam film był przyzwoity (dzięki Savalasowi głównie) -to był taki mały skrót myślowy

Is there anyone in MI6 out there who can take this up with the Secretary of State for Defence as it is plainly wrong? Also, what is the name of the agent after "009"? Does it work on the Dewey library system i.e. "001.1"? Or is it "0-10" (which, if not said quickly, would make the agent sound as if he was trying to remember his code name or was being a bit camp)?

Personally, Craig is probably my least fav Bond,(except for Lazenby). I feel that Brosnan had a few more years under his belt as Bond, and probably took a place as a 3rd place Bond after Connery and Moore. The "safe-sex" Bond (Dalton) didn't really appeal to what makes Bond, well, Bond! Although, the entire cast of "License To Kill" sort of saved it. And you probably won't find a better group to perfom any soundtrack than Duran Duran. They've stood strong! These a just my thoughts though.

Daniel Craig is a modern actor. He is a Bond. The only thing I think he is not acheeving is the spirit of glamour and charming as Ian Fleming has designed for James Bond. For that spirit, Roger Moore performed much better.

About George Lazenby: I think the guy wasn't wrong around the movie. But it was a transition after 5 great movies with Sean Connery and the company put Lanzenby (on the time, a great actor) with some pressure after 5 successfull movies. (cont)
