  • even if they are adapted from two centuries these horses suffer. This is not the natural habitat in order to live, I consider a human cruelty have abandoned them there.

  • What do the horses eat in winter other than dried grasses?

  • @thy eat what they can. A lot of it would be dead grass but I am sure they have learned to find some still green stuff frozen under the snow

  • Winter grazing must be lean for them.

  • @MsPsycho29 winter mortality is exponential compare to summer.

But its quite balmy there in winter compared to the mainland with the gulfstream

  • what's the music :-)

  • @rmpbklyn it's back ground music that came with Pinnacle Studio editing software

non-copyrighted. I put it in an annotation at the beginning. It automatically renders to the length of the video and seems to change with the scenes too.

  • healthy looking horses.

  • @ackmino Due to a over 2 centuries of natural selection they are very hardy and strong. No man made breeding

  • lovely horses, horrible videoeffects

  • Lay one hand on my budget or you'll have to deal with the most horrible goasts

  • @Ypipable goats?

or ghosts? I can handle the first one lol

  • @daveni2 glad to see that a typo possibly inspired...something...

In the meantime, they go, we go.

  • His shots of the lovelies are superb. I hope their numbers are always plentiful and man does not continuing stepping on their habitat.

  • @cooksterz One needs special permission to visit the island and if anyone is evasive they would surely never be invited again. They are protected by the coast guard and have been roaming this small sandbar island for 2 centuries. They are horses suspended in time. Google "sable island ponies" their history is amazing.

  • @cooksterz invasive I meant

  • :):):) ilut and imu

  • @TheMariaSmiles Imu too

  • these horses are beautifuland it's amazing how they seem to love life, i wish there would be more places on earth where animals won't be bothered by men. thank you for posting. :)

  • @TheMariaSmiles yw

I have known about these horses all my life and have heard so many stories and legends about how they got there. With out the interference of artificial breeding they are horses frozen in time. Due to a over 2 centuries of natural selection they are very hardy and strong.
