  • I can't wait to see the movie spirit of albion! :D

  • Druidry and the OBOD couldn't have a better ambassador within the pagan community.

  • I love Damh! His work is amazing, and I love the Celtic Ways!

  • Why don't you go and see him live then? He'll be playing near Fulda on October 1, 2011.

  • @Serpentia64 awesome! and he'll be at Witchfest in November too, along with loads of other pagan artists! :D

  • When I first heard this I thought it was weird, this Damh fellow was singing about some medieval RPG. But now it's kinda nice...

  • @retrospectroverted Heh, sorry, but Damh is the real deal. He's speaking about the old Isles of the Celts, his home, and is calling to those of us who still follow the Old Ways,,,

  • Powerful and uplifting.. Revives you just by listening.

  • damh must come to jupiter florida!

  • How very curious that, in the worlds of sextillions of stars, the sprits inhabit the elder areas of this world. And yet, it's not at all curious; here we find life, here we find the spirit of life.

    Thanks, Damh.

  • a wonderfull song.i hope i will find more of these songs.well done and thank you for posting it.blessed be.

  • I really like this song, and I get spooky shivers running up and down my spine whenever I hear it.

  • Today I took Damh's advice and went

    "...down to Wilmington

Where the giant guards the way"

The figure looked magnificent on the warm, summer's afternoon. I could almost see Damh singing "The Spirit of Albion" there. Certainly the song was playing loud and clear inside my head.

  • Just wanted to point out that his name is a beautiful play on words. It looks loke he's saying "Dam the Bard' but as ChaoticMasquerade pointed out it's pronounced "Darv" That's cute because his name is "David" so of course he's known as "Dave' Also Damh is Irish for "Stag" Allusions to a stag are found in almost all his songs.

    It really is clever.

  • Great song, nice bloke

  • I like it but how do you pronounce damh? Just wondering

  • like DOM if you have an american accent

  • Hahaha! xD! No, it's not DOM. It's Dahv. Mh in Gaelic is pronounced as a v.

  • Though, I think he may say it Darv.... Not sure why the r sound is there.

  • yea first one to comment this i think is the best song by the damh the bard

    love his work
