  • The Smallville version Flash got fangs...: )

  • the only person who can out run superman is THEFLASH

  • you do know that that its not the flash that is in smallville its actually impulse he becomes the flash later on.

  • @bigrastaman1 He becomes the flash, so technically he is the flash,

  • you do know that that its not the flash that is in smallville its actually impulse.

  • very cool vid but man, you made my heart ache by starting out with that clip of the late Jonathan Brandis (I well remember watching him in that episode of Flash during it's run). Still miss him.

  • superman is not slower because he has more than one power he is just slower supes can fly at about light speed but the flash can gfo a billion times faster

  • A perfectly melancholy song. It addresses his deepest fears very well. Most of the time he wouldn't feel this way--otherwise he would be a much more darker character. You pieced the video together quite nicely. Great job!

  • can anyone name me other songs like thi?

  • why superman never could beat flash in anykind of race: supermans other powers make his speed slower while flash only has one power so he can go to unbealivble speeds

  • they should make a new flash film, thumbs up if you agree

  • *theCODguy99 actually u dont just go throught time after moving faster than light its after u much faster then u travel in time.....i think

  • whats the episode when flash turns fat

  • i miss smallville.

  • How does he turn fat????

  • @ThePooXu it's a dream...thigny...>:<

when he once fent he wasnt fast enough^^'

  • can the flash move faster than light?

  • @boogiebuddy01 the reason light is behind him all the time is because he's faster than light

  • @globby13 If he was traveling faster than the speed of light, he would theoretically travel back into time. The light behind him is simply used as an indicator as to how fast he is actually going, and how we as humans actually see it

  • @boogiebuddy01 No. If he did, he would theoretically be able to travel backwards into time.

  • @theCODguy99 which wally west did in the comic

  • I love the Flash

    I have a Flash / Reverse Flash yin-yang tattoo

We named our 1st son "Jay Garrick"

  • I really like the speed effects of the 90s lol

  • Where flash leads you cannot follow

  • Takes to long, seems so slowly

  • now we just need to add one more flash :) Kid Flash from Young Justice :D

  • @churchluvr13 his already added his wally west

  • what does the kid say at the begining cuz he lows his voice and I dont understand it?

  • johnathan brandis was never the flash???? that dude hung himself.

  • hey wat season and episode was that on at 3:39 ?

  • Fastest Man Alive.

  • Which is this music please say it to me

  • @TheAssassinS3500 'The ballard of Barry Alen' by Jims Big Ego, I hear it's on itunes

  • Superman and captain marvel are not even close to the flash in terms of speed... The flash is to nth power faster than either. The flash is capable of going around the earth before supes can blink

  • @CisMediaGuy

superman can kick his us at speed when it comes to flying......he reverses time

  • @TheBradique FLashes aare faster one has been so fast he can create speed clones and at top speed so can the flash

  • hey do know where i can download this song ive been searching for it on itunes but cant find it

  • ha ha Mark Hamill as mirror master in the old show! love it!

  • @Gambitgirl1974 Actually Mark Hamill played the Trickster, not the Mirror Master.

  • @Rowbacca

thanks, got mixed up! was watching the Justice Leaue episode yesterday about the Flash Museum and yup it was Mark Hamill voicing the Trickster!

  • what film is it from at 0.37 and 1.23

please send me a message if u know, thanks

  • @wikedwatches If you read the description you would be able to narrow it down to one of three possible shows. Use that information to find out for yourself. Everything won't always be handed out to you on a silver platter, you have to find things out on your own.

Sorry if I sound rude, but you can easily find it out on your own.

  • what season and episode is it of smallville where these clips are from?

  • @MrKyleeJ Season 4, Episode 5: Run, and Season 6, Episode 11: Justice.

  • why every single vid ive seen like this they end with the speedforce vid

  • @mindmaster323 The Speedforce is a vital part of that makes the speedsters in the DC Universe speedsters. All their power is drawn from there, and since they rec-coned it again, Barry Allen now generates the speedforce. I don't know about others, but I placed it at the end because if the Flash runs to fast he will be sucked into the speedforce and, esentially, be dead. It's good to be placed at the end because it signifies that his death can be just one step away.

  • there are other sources for speedsters in DCU like for the marvels/wonder woman they have the greek gods hermes or the super family they have the sun to fuel their speed.

  • @Rowbacca BAMM!!

  • @Rowbacca And yet, on multiple occasions, Flashes have talked about yearning to merge with it...

Really makes you wonder what they feel on the other side and how they think.

  • I don't understand why th whole song is so sad because the last time I knew The flash was married :/

  • @hljodbylgja yea then she dies and she is left as a spirit

  • @hljodbylgja

One of Wally West's JL Flash, one of jhi biggest fears was running so fast time stops for every else but him. but the song is sad no doubt. There is an Ep of JL maybe U where a Flash museum is being dedicated to him, he convinces Bat's & Orion to go with him, at the end Orion said, ahh I see you hide a Warrior's Pain

  • @hljodbylgja Just because someone is married doesn't mean that they no longer have fears or worries. Yes each Flash (save Bart) has been happily married, but their wives cannot understand what it is like to live everyday out of step with the rest of the world. A few seconds to us is like several hours to them. As the song suggests, time drags on and on for them. We cannot possibly imagine the effect that would have on our minds.

  • 3:17....

is that... is that fucking Mark Hamill?

  • this rules but was that flash 90's show good?

  • @buns134

At the time when I watched I loved it, Simply cause it was The Flash. It had its funny bits, special effects were great, after watching this vid and seeing scenes from the Pilot, Breaking the sound barrier. It deserves to be dusted off and watched again. What's totally freakin me out is someone wrote the song about him, and its such a great song.

  • I don't know if this has been said before, so please, no one get angry if I'm repeating anything. Jay Garrick was the original Flash from the 40's, he wore a helmet like the Roman god Mercury. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman were the only heroes to maintain continuity through the 50's. In the sixties, Flash was 'reborn' as Barry Allen, and Wally West was his nephew. The original Teen Titans were basically "Justice League Jr. Edition."

  • @TheGoldcountry thats right...

    thumbs up for history...

    :]

  • What song is this it makes me wanna cry

  • @RemerTv Read the information.

  • @RemerTv I know right The Flash was my complete hands down favorite but wtf, It never clicked into my head how much that would be a pain.... nobody is ever fast enough to keep up, everything from human interaction to a bullet would just feel like it's just dragging on for an inescapably long amount of time when you move faster than reality... a bit depressing but that's probably why they gave him a comical attitude you know what they say... most comedians have some very dark demons.

  • i think superman or Captain Marvel would be the break to flash's dullness in terms of lack of speed competitors. I mean Superman/Captain marvel are the only two that can be on flash's tail in a race

  • @RemerTv ballad of barry allen

  • And On...

  • oh and bart came from the future. he is barrys grandson and his parents sent him back in time to learn how to be a hero. he used the alias impulse as he didnt think he was worthy of the title kid flash yet.

  • jay garrick came first, then readers got bored saying he was to old so dc brought in barry allen and he became the flash that many of us recognize. trying to get teens and young adults on board dc brought in many teen hero's among the first was wally west, barrys nephew and the first kid flash. he got his powers intentionally recreating his uncles accident, then barry died saving all reality from the anti moniter so wally became the flash most of us know from todays comics and tv shows.

  • don't do**

  • I would like it if they got Kyle Gallner, [impulse on smallville] to be flash in the movie, i hope they do sumthin stupid like cast michael cera as flash, i would be pissed

  • From what i gather there are waaay too many versions of the flash, the ones ive seen so far are:

    Kid Flash

    Barry Allen

    Bart Allen

    Wally West

I dont read the comics of the Flash so I dont know much about his origin and much of the differences between them

  • Wally West>>>>>>>>>>Barry Allen

  • the flash speed force

  • @yeahright2

Ryan Reynolds is already fine as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

  • ryan reynolds would make a better flash lol

  • WOOT ROB YOUR VIDEOS AWESOME

  • oooh, flash's sooo cool, now when someone asks me "who's you favourite superhero?" i'll say FLASH!!xD

  • @3:15 .Mark Hamill as James Jesse(a.k.a. The Trickster) from a 1991 episode of The Flash.

  • Great song. Wish I could buy it. I have to say there are too many versions of The Flash. Its a bit confusing. I think things should be simplified. Barry Allen should be The Flash for any film or TV show. he has the best origin and rogues gallery. Upo there with Batman and Spider-Man

  • ROB!!!!! Ive seen this video gaillions of times since you made it!!! Your me two years older!!! oh and the flash is the worst hero ever....NOT

  • do you not pay attention. its not barry allen ... its bart allen. (or flash or impulse... which ever)

  • Kid Flash

  • 2 months later and I feel compelled to comment again! I Love this wonderful video you made. Great song, and legendary character!

  • flash rules period he could beatg most persons wth his speed alone

  • @nathanbilly592 "most persons" i lol'ed

  • 1:22

    Is that a movie o_O??

  • Nah, it was from the original series they made in the 90s. It was pretty good!

  • of course the song fits, its a song about the flash lol, barry allen to be specific :D

  • Awesome Vid

  • I JUST saw the first episode of the 90's flash series and I WANT MORE!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE jims big ego!

  • where i can download this song ?

    give a link

  • what season did the flash first comme in.

  • What does the kid say at the start? "...who hasn't ....is the flash". What's between "hasn't" and "is the flash"?

  • Jiving me

  • The only one in this stinking town who hasn't been jabbing me is the flash I believe is what he says.

  • is the beggining smallville?

  • no a show they had in like the early 90's.I believe the kid is jonathan brandis.

  • " the only one who hasn't given up on me in this stinking town is the flash...."

  • Awesome....song and amv.

  • hey i made 1 after seeing this beacuse this was really good so please check my 1 out

  • nice vid clips and the songs cool

  • those kids ? r they from the 90`s? if not where r they from, which show or movie, ty vm ^.^

  • Smallville?

  • I agree: a Flash movie would be amazing, but aren't they making a Justice League Movie to introduce all the characters at once?

and i adore the song, great job on the video!

  • ooooh, Flash would just be mind blowing in a high budget film with todays CG and some really visionary choreographers.

  • I highly recommend the 90s flash tv show, it was amazing.

  • flash is awsome

  • the flash is probably the most underrated superhero due to his whimsical personality

  • @killaplaya222 I agree- when the s**t hit the fan, he did what he had to do.

  • @killaplaya222 Well Wally is at least, dont know about Barry though

  • @killaplaya222 The Flash is one of the best super heroes by far thats not a cheater like superman.

  • @killaplaya222 Very astute observation about his whimsical personality. Flash can afford to throw in some humor to offset being the loneliest person in the universe seeing that no one can keep up with him or share the awesome mind-bending challenges of ultimate speed and the uncanny dimensions awaiting that even he doesn't fully realize what the future holds as he accelerates through new personal records leaving everyone farther and farther behind...!///////////// . . . . *

  • @FINNEGANAGENNIF Agreed. There was one episode of the Justice League I think or JLU where he was being honored with a new museum dedicated to him and amongst the turmoil caused by the villains the museum had been destroyed. Nevertheless, he just shrugged it off without a second thought about the fame or the media's reactions.

  • @killaplaya222 Seems that maybe The Flash, more than any other superhero, needs his job just to channel some positive energy to his own psyche. Allways glad to get the next assignment to justify his disparate ability. Makes him also perhaps aloof, but then you can't blame him for personal jokes to offset the fact he must enter different, sometimes unknown, dimensions with limited advance knowledge of what he might find in himself and surroundings. A laughter in his soul to reply to loneliness.

  • @killaplaya222

I don't think you even understand how right you are!!!!!

  • @killaplaya222 Not only that, when he doesn't use his powers is when he shines, just talking down some of his rogue gallery into hanging up their gear and taking their medication.

  • Flash... my favorite superhero of all time

    Batman's a close second

if they ever created a modern Flash movie.... i probably fall to my knees and cry

  • They did excellent with Iron Man, Batman, and Hulk. I think that they could do a good Flash one too. They have the technology.

  • ...you and me both....Flash always was the one super-superhero for me^^ I propably would go in a Flash-Suit to watch the movie^^

  • damn. i am using the name of the song and the name of the band but they all dont work when i click on them to play them on itunes

  • i cant find the song. i am using frostwire but it wont show up damn.

  • it's the ballad of barry allen

  • rowbacca how do i get the mp3 of this song cuz i cant find it or download it

  • you can download this song on Limewire

and the name of the song is:The Ballade of Barry Allen from Jim's big Ego

  • whos the kid in the beginning??

    is it bart??

    or just some random kid??

  • The guy that says 'Right' was the flash in the old TV show. That kid is his son I believe.

  • kay thanks..

  • Episode is called "The Brave and the Bold."

  • yeah think it was the one with doomsday in it

  • what exactly is the last couple seconds from?

  • Justice League Unlimited, I'm not sure which episode...

  • It's from Justice League Unlimited episode, from Season 1 (Or season 3 of Justice League, however you classify it) The episode is called "Divided We Fall"

  • where did you get this song?

  • do u have the lyrics?

  • which show is the begining clip taken from?

  • the first clip of when the kid is talking is the 90s show the 2nd is smallville

  • gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah second video i saw with this song, must have it! flash rules by the way :)

  • a Must have indeed!

  • i love this video it so cool and so love this guy

  • I like the video and song.I didnt know there were soo many people who were The Flash. I thought it was the same person, but just changed the person a little. I heard onetime that Flash was killed or they killed him off,but I don't know which one they are talking about. And why are their soo many Flashs?

  • there are 4 that i know of, jay garrick was the first, then barry allen, the one from the tv show, he's the one that dies, then u have wally west, the redheaded one in the jl cartoon, and the kid that was in smallville is bart allen, the grandson of barry allen, he's known as impulse and he, quite literally, comes from the future, i think he mentions it once in smallville, but more like an inside joke than a fact

  • yes, i nsmallville, it COULD be he's from the future, but chances are lke 99 percent he's not, in Smallville..

sm takes place as a pre-pre crisis event....

  • That kid who played Bart Allen really seemed annoying and punkish when I first saw him, but through this video he's grown on me. He did a good job.

  • This song's really got a hold of me, I can thankfully say.

  • i must get this song sometime for my ipod

  • did u ever get this on ur ipod?

  • could never find it

  • darn =/

  • If you need to know the song name for your ipod it is called The Ballad of Barry Allen by Jim's Big Ego. Fun fact, the lead singer of this band is the nephew of the guy who created Barry Allen for DC

  • What's cool is that this video lists literally all three of the Flashes (Save for Jay Garrick who has his own distinct costume)

Barry Allen (90s), Wally West(JL/JLU), and

     Bart Allen (Smallville)

  • This song is uhhh..lol

  • was that wally west at the start?

  • I wonder why it's so hard to capture his speed. The best capture of it imo was in Justice League The New Frontier. So many things don't do The Flash "justice".

  • I could not agree more. In The new Frontier, you actually feel like he's going faster than anything else on Earth. In Justice League Unlimited, they make him look like an average sprinter. It is a bit annoying. He should be invisible and there should be a lot of sonic booms, but there aren't. Smallville is a bit better, but still Bart is much closer to light speed than you see there.

  • on SMallville they are past light spee,d Loinel said s ohimself, in Justice

  • thats scary!

  • wats the name of this song

  • The Ballad of Barry Allen

  • amazing video kudos to you

  • The flash has always been my most fave superhero even when i was a kid, with all the films of differentheroes coming out now we really should see a flash movie coming out? but who would you guys want to be the flash in the movie version?

  • I think James Roday from Psych would make an awesome Flash. He has the quick-draw wit and he looks kinda geeky like I always think of Barry

  • yeah i agree, but i think if it went to the cinema screen someone like jim carrey would end up being the flash, i would also like to see a green lantern movie lol infact i would love to see a JLA movie but i guess thats up to the bigwigs lol.

  • Jim Carrey? (shudders thinking of him in bright red tights) yikes. I think Luke Wilson would make a cool GL if they made it with hal Jordan. i refuse to belive anything i hear about Justice league until a trailer comes out. there has been so much speculation, i'm tired of the moivie before the script is finished, lol.

  • I think theres a flash movie coming out in 2008... At least it was being talked about a while back

  • Ryan Renolds would make a perfect Wally.

  • i lvoe this video so cool

  • The original live-action Flash show failed because it was miscast, and fans couldn't subconsciously swallow a heavy, muscle-bound stud as The Flash. Both the actor and the character were uninteresting, with no real character quirks that would have made him endearing, and the whole show was a lazy milking of the Tim Burton/Danny Elfman schtick.

  • If they ever cast a live-action Flash again, they need to go with the Barry Allen character, and pick an actor who is a socially-awkward, highly introverted, wiry-but-cute type with blond hair and powerful, piercing eyes that radiate a deeply-probing intelligence and a lightning-fast mind.

  • yeah, i love the way they portray Flash in the DC: New Frontier series. the moment with him and Captain Cold in Vegas made him my official favorite super-hero.

  • Flash is actually the most interesting character, in my opinion. The Barry Allen version was "fast" in every respect except sexually, and I liked that. He was a supremely fast, intelligent thinker as well as a runner. I wish he'd been developed more as a Reed Richards-type, intellectual character before they killed him off, out of a lazy lack of imagination.

  • I have never had any fondness whatsoever for the Wally West character, as he was re-envisioned outside of Marv Wolfman's run on the Teen Titans. He's largely mindless, shallow and conceited, and I despise those qualities.

  • I always loved the way that Barry Allen was very childlike and fairy-tale loyal to his wife, Iris. Killing off such a character was a huge moral mistake, in my opinion, and it was probably the result of cowardly pressure from the higher-ups in Warner Bros.

  • but then again, these days when Barry is mentioned, his death is apparently one of those things that "must happen" like Lois and Clark falling in love. it's a universal certainty, which makes Barry also a little tragic. Like I always say: DC stands for Dramatic Characters!

  • Well, personally, I've gotten pretty sick of DC. I don't like the way they've gotten corporate greedy, and have turned Superboy into a villain and started calling him "Superman" so that they never have to pay the Siegel family their father's royalties on the character.

  • I also despise the way they've also decided to kill off Jack Kirby's New Gods with their new "Death of the New Gods" series... all likely because, like with the Superboy character, they don't want to have to pay off their most beloved creators and characters. DOWN WITH DC.

  • meh, i don't really give two thumps a darzek tail what the big wigs do as long as the stories stay entertaining (and Superman never gets a mullet again *shudder*)

  • Ah. Well, that's apparently where you and I differ: I got into comics because they brought heroism into my life. But now that I find out they're actually serving the greater cause of real human evil, I'm through with them. I'm not into being a callous groupie, or a party to evil. DOWN WITH DC.

  • You're a real hypocrite you know. DC's historically had more 'perfect' characters compared to Marvel and you said you liked it that way, now you prefer Marvel for the same reason you swear off DC? And it's Marvel that started the trend of screwing top creators with Kirby and Ditko.

  • The only thing they got right with the series was Mark Hammill.
