I think you're a little flat on some of the notes...on a brass instrument you could 'lip-up', but in your case maybe you need to 'palm-up' or 'wrist-up'...

Well, Jim, thanks for this link. As you know, a friend of mine bought "big red", the 6 and half foot eight track used to record this song. We used it for many, many sessions, however, most musicians complained that the machine recorded everything they played flat. All I can say is this guy plays so many less flat notes than Chuck did on this song. Good job manualist.
