@GagaManMusic Thanks! They are way too difficult and time consuming. I'd need money to actually get animations like these done (because the time it would take one person to do it is ridiculous). I actually started out on YouTube trying to do that (put together large 3D projects like this), but then all the projects fell apart and I realized I wasn't making any videos. So I just did this little series and Mike Tyson so far. =^)

do you make shorts for films?

Like when they play the shorts before the movies? No, but that's an interesting market. That actually used to be a real market back in the Loony Tunes, Mickey Mouse, Felix The Cat days. They played short cartoons serials (what Star Wars and Indiana Jones were based on) before the movies, and the makers of those took cuts of the profit (this was before TV).

Then, when TV came out, all the cartoons and such went there. The pre-cartoon and serial market dried up at the movies.

Recently, Pixar (and others) brought it back by showing their animated shorts (mostly technical experiments that also got accolades). So nobody makes shorts before films to make money anymore, but I don't see why not, especially if the film is family fare. It's an interesting thought. Thanks!

recently i've been noticing, many animations that i like have glow-effects, and this one is a good example :)

Cool. Thanks! We've got springs on the grapes, environment lighting (boxing, dog vs. Coconut, etc.), fire, rope effects, fur, lightening (with glow), grass, fire (with glow), leaves, glow on the grapes, glow on the sticks, particle goo, blur on the goo, blur on Gary Grape spinning, ...

action stars (done in After Effects, except for the Pow star, which was fully illuminated so the lighting doesn't effect it), animated eyes, particle goo collision, electric energy(when Orange transforms), glow on the light sabre, particle smoke trail, particle spray from the AST, glow energy thrusters from the leg clamps, glow energy rings around the bugs, and blur around Coconut's environment and the van at the end.

i'm studying "North by Northwest", the famous scene, and that's a dusty scene, i think they placed talcum powder dear the road so when the zephyr truck passes by, Cary Grant is engulfed in the dust cloud -

You mean how did we make the sounds? We actually used a Seattle studio called Ear Force that mostly pulled from their sound library. So that's how we do most of these: we search online and in libraries that people own. We haven't had to foley our own stuff yet, but I imagine that we're going to have to do it sooner or later.
